Location: Avon, Hatteras Island, Northern Coast & Outer Banks, Coastal, North Carolina, USA (50 minutes south of Nags Head, approx. 2.5 hrs. from Norfolk)

Accommodations:  Single Family House, 5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths (Sleeps 12)

Come spend a week with your friends and family at this 5 bedroom canal front home. The house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac away from crowds with lots of privacy. You will enjoy seeing fish jump in the canal while getting your windsurfing gear ready on the dock.

We have a private pool (13' x 25') and a hot tub located on the pool deck. The house also has a screened porch with gas grill and picnic table, right near the kitchen area. You have views of the sound from the top floor of the house and from the screen porch.

The kitchen area has a breakfast bar that seats six as well as a dining area and family sized table that seats eight. The kitchen counter top area is spacious and will accommodate a family buffet as well as a generous prep area.

The top level has a grand master bedroom w/deck, new tile and paint in the bathroom. From the deck we have beautiful views of the canal and the Sound. The kitchen, living room, dining area and screened porch with picnic table are on this level.

The 2nd level has 4 bedrooms, a laundry area, 2 full baths. Three of the bedrooms open out to a spacious deck with seating and direct view of the pool, canal and the Sound.

We provide a fish cleaning table, High chair, foosball table, fireplace(wood), 1 DVD, 2 VCRs, video library, gas grill, OS shower, 6 person Hot Tub, Jet tub in the master, screen porch, books, games and well-equipped kitchen.

  • The house is on a canal. We have a dock from which you can launch your kayak,or paddle out to the Sound to Windsurf, or fish and crab. Kayak rentals are available within walking distance. The famous 'Canadian Hole' is approx. 2-3 miles by car where windsurfers and Kitesurfers enjoy surfing in the shallow water. People from all over the U.S. come here to Wind Surf or Kite Surf.
