A perfect getaway in paradise!! Pelican Sound Golf and River Club is a 547 acre gated resort-type community located in Estero, just 20 min. from the new Southwest Florida International Airport. The Sound is located between Naples and Fort Myers, both just a short drive away. Enjoy walking around downtown Naples with all the shops, art galleries, museums and fine restaurants located along Fifth Avenue or Third Street. The Sound is only 5 min. from Interstate 75 and the Miromar Outlet Mall, the new Coconut Point shopping area and is close to other shopping centers, movie theaters and a wealth of great restaurants. The area is the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins, as well as other sports at the Germain Arena (hockey and basketball). The islands of Captiva and Sanibel are nearby and provide some great shelling, beautiful beaches and nature walks.
Experience the privacy in this beautiful, recently renovated, single family home with two bedrooms, a den (could be used as a bedroom) and two full baths. The master suite has a king-size pillow top mattress, walk in closet,full master bath with twin basins and walk in shower and large tub. Step out the door of the master suite and into the beautiful 40 foot lanai with pool and spa. The guest room, located in its own private wing, has two twins beds and full bath. The third room is furnished as a den with a desk and PC hookup, but can sleep two additional people with a convertible queen size sofa. This area has a pocket door, which provides privacy to read a book or for your guests to enjoy their own area. A great room with 14' cathedral ceiling, has two leather sofas and chair and an entertainment center with a 32" TV, DVD and stereo system. Enjoy the view out to the pool area and the beautiful Florida sunsets. The dining area seats six with buffet. The fully equipped kitchen, with new granite countertops and cabinets, provides everything you need to cook for your family or to entertain. The breakfast nook with table and four chairs is the perfect place to watch the sunrise in the morning. The screened lanai has a table and four chairs and a new gas grill for your use. The pool is 13'x36' (larger than most Sound pools), in a Grecian style with a spa for those evenings that you want to relax, unwind and watch the stars. All rooms have ceiling fans to add to your comfort.

Amenities - as a tenant leasing in Pelican Sound, you may elect to transfer to our Pelican Sound Golf and River Club Membership. You will be entitled to enjoy all the amenities provided at the Sound.
Golf Club - The beautiful Mediterranean-style 18,000 square foot clubhouse is the central point of many activities with formal and casual dining. The Main Club House has a main dining room, a grill room and bar, a pro shop, and locker rooms. There are many evening activities such as dances, comedy nights, theme dinners, game nights as well as regular restaurant style evenings throughout the season.
River Club - is a 5,000 square foot restaurant designed for casual indoor and outdoor dining. The River Club also has a sports bar with several large TV's to follow your favorite sports teams. There is also a fully outfitted fitness center at the River Club Complex along with a 2,400 square foot heated swimming pool.
Pelican Sound has access to offshore beaches reached by "free" boat shuttle service. A canoe and kayak park offers renters the "free" use of a canoe or kayak in the wildlife area along the Estero River.
Golf - for the golf lover, Pelican Sound offers 27 holes of challenging championship golf, co-designed by Senior PGA Tour player Mike Hill and golf course architect Chip Powell and takes advantage of the spectacular environment of lakes, preserves and the native vegetation. Improve your game at the Aqua driving range, putting area, or the chipping area with sand traps. A Chelsea preferred tee time reservation system ensures opportunity to play during the busy winter season whether a member or renter.
Tennis- enjoy six lighted and fenced Har-Tru tennis courts. The club tennis pro oversees many activities, including tournaments and a full schedule of lessons.

This beautifully decorated home is our getaway to paradise, and is the first time we are renting it. We bought our coach home in 1999, sold that and bought this home three years ago. Our love for Pelican Sound made it impossible to go anywhere else. In addition to having a new pool and spa built, we put all new granite countertops and new cabinets in the kitchen, installed new carpeting in the bedrooms and had all new window treatments put in. The house was also repainted. We love the Estero area due to its close proximity to Fort Myers and Naples, plus the ability to hop over to Sanibel or Captiva quickly. The white sand beaches are close by and are great to see the beautiful Florida sunsets. We think you will love the home. It's open concept is great for entertaining and we take great pride in its cleanliness and floor plan.
