This little place has a lovely 1950's feel. Jasmine, lavendar and rosemary surround the property making morning coffee in the sun a wonderful experience. Intelligencia is within walking distance, as is a delicious wood fire pizza place that delivers. The kitchen is decently stocked and the owners even provide laundry detergent and coffee. The property owners were available for questions and there is plenty of street parking nearby. Great little place to stay in southern California.

We had a great time in LA staying at Los Feliz Lodge. We were an easy drive or short walk to everything we wanted to see and do. The space was perfect for the two of us.

My husband and I rented the "White Casita" for a week (4/20th-27th, 2010) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was spotless, private, comfortable and the bed was great. Perfect place for us! Would definitely stay again! Thanks!

My husband and I and our 2 daughters stayed at the Loz Feliz lodge in early December 2009 and loved it. We traveled all over the US and Canada for 7 weeks and it was truly one of only two places we stayed in that we would have no hesitation in staying at again. I met Jacob on the afternoon we arrived, but didn't need to call him for anything in the 6 days we were there as it was all provided. We could cook our own meals in the great kitchen, a supermarket was very close by, as was public transport, and it was just a very relaxed but funky place to hang out. It made our first visit to Los Angeles a great one... we're desperately trying to find ways of getting back there sooner rather than later. And when we do we'll stay at the Los Feliz lodge. Thanks Jacob for making the Lodge feel like home and not a hotel.

Love, love, love Los Feliz Lodge! We stayed in the Blue Casita last June when we came out to visit our daughter. She lives only blocks away so it was very convenient and we didn't have to stay in a hotel and there aren't any decent hotels in that area,so it was perfect! So clean, cute and comfortable! We will be back to L.A. and plan on staying here the next time!It felt like home and I still look at the pics from time to time because I miss it! I also love the whole ecology friendly living! We will definately be back!

We had an excellent stay at the Los Feliz Lodge - Jacob was really great with making sure we had everything we needed prior to our stay. The place was great, very clean and well stocked with necessary amenities, and the location was perfect. We would definitely stay there again. If I had one request, it would be to upgrade the towels in the bathroom, but that would be all! (Villa 1501 & Red Casita)

I LOVED my stay in the Blue Casita. As someone who travels to LA at least once a month on business and has tried probably 20 different LA hotels over the years, I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to find a place like Los Feliz Lodge. Everything was perfect, I felt like I was "home" and not in a stuffy hotel. Loved the funky yet comfortable decor and the attention to detail, a lot of love obviously goes into this place. Neighborhood is amazing too, I highly recommend Cafe Stella and Little Dom's for dinner and Intellientsia for coffee. Jacob was a pleasure to deal with and was super professional and friendly. A+ all around !!! Already made a reservation to stay here again in a few weeks!

Wonderful, relaxing location. The lodge is right in the heart of Los Angeles and close to all the attractions; yet it is so quiet and serene, it gives you the perfect place for a much needed break. It is elegant and romantic too. Depending on the villa, it is perfect for families or a romantic getaway for two. We love the staff. So friendly and attentative.

We we travel, we always look for independently owned lodging that makes you feel like part of the community. Los Feliz lodge was perfect for our stay in LA. From the peaceful garden to the beautifully decorated rooms and furniture, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We especially appreciated the fresh wind through the open windows and the cat that wondered in one morning. We'll definitely pass it on to our friends! Nice Job! (RED CASITA)

What a wonderful place to stay. Love the slippers. LA can be a bit intimidating to out of town'ers but each day we came "home." What a "Vista View"! (VILLA 1503)

This was my second stay, once in a villa, this time in the Green Casita. Both were very well appointed. It had everything I needed. The host was very friendly and attentive. Great location, too, walking distance near lots of restaurants, supermarket, even buses to the shopping centers, the grove, farmer's market, Glendale Galleria, the Americana. I'll be back in August and hop there's availability. (GREEN CASITA)

My husband and i enjoyed our recent stay at Los Feliz Lodge. This home away from home is a walker's paradise and so close to restaurants of all kinds and the one and only Vista Theater, were we took in a movie and just two blocks from our charming casita.

Thank you! It was a nice change from hotel living when I travel for business. I really enjoyed the villa and your binders full of tips. I also love your eco-friendly mindset. Keep up the good work! It is refreshing to know that Los Feliz Lodge exists and an important addition to the lodging industry--esp. for a business traveler looking for a slice of home.

We really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen - a must since we were travelling with 2 kids - 4 and 19 months. The quiet street and spare, tasteful decor were also a pleasant discovery. Had a great breakfast at Alcove - highly recommend!
