Wasn't sure about the layout before we got there but it turned out perfect. We were 2 families, each with 2 young kids (age 3-7). Kids could play downstairs with minimal supervision, had lots of young child toys and videos. Upstairs open layout meant the adults could converse and cook and hang out at the fire. Enough bed rooms that the kids could be separated so they could fall asleep without talking until midnight. We had great fun in the snow. I don't know how such a big place can feel as cozy as this house does, it really is great. Would love to try it out in the summer!

My family which included small children thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Memory Lane cabin. It is well stocked, very clean, and the home's floor plan works well for families which include grandparents (my husband and me) down to small grandchildren. The hot tub was a big hit and the snow in the yard was perfect for the children to play in all day. We would definitely plan another trip and this as our accommodation.

I took my family to this beautiful cabin for an early Chistmas get away. While we didn't have a lot of snow in the first week of December, my kids (3 and 6) enjoyed playing outside, hot tub, walk around nature paths, Leavenworth and even met dogs training on their sleds! It's about 10-15 min farther than Leavenworth if you are coming from Seattle area. The beds are very comfortable and I was amazed by how much amenities they had like TV, movies, DVD player, lots of family games & books, sleds, full kitchen! The cell phones will not work there and that is perfect for a quiet break! I will highly recommend and will probably come again :-)
Owner response:Thanks Trieu! FYI-Sprint and Verizon work just fine at the cabin, sounds like your carrier didn't. There is a house phone for guests to use as well.

I could have stayed here forever!! The house was great. A real nice cozy lodge in a great location to see natures finest. Blocks from a river, a short drive to lake Wenatchee and a 15 minute beautiful drive to Leavenworth which had lots of fun October activities, great beers, great wine tasting at kestrel vintners and more natural bliss. We slept very comfortable and relaxed wonderfully. After a cool crisp day the hot tub followed by a ping pong tournament a glass of wine and a movie by the fire was a great finish to a wonderful day. One of the most beautiful areas I've been in Washington/Oregon/British Columbia. The owners seem like very nice people and treated us very well. Would go back to this area and this same property in a heartbeat. Thanks to the Rohrich family for a trip that exceeded expectations.
Owner response:Thanks Travis! We hope you'll be back again:)

A group of my friends and I stayed here for one night in September. Our friend got married at Pine River Ranch (also highly recommended) which just happens to be directly across the street from this property. The place is huge and has all kinds of fun things to do inside. My only wish is that we'd had more time to hang out in it! The owners were incredibly helpful and flexible and I can't thank them enough!

We loved the house!! We had 4 kids 6 and under and they absolutely loved all the fun things on the downstairs level to play with and watch all kinds of fun movies. We enjoyed the "at home" kitchen. The Loft master bedroom was relaxing and fun all at once. There was an additional cave to hide in. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay there. We would love to stay there again. I think next time in the winter though.... all the snow pictures look amazing!

Our stay was perfect! The house was totally decorated for Christmas. There were 10 of us and we had sooooooooo much room. The house is laid out beautifully. Quiet time with Christmas music in upstairs living room, kids downstairs playing cards, bumper pool and Wii (we brought ours from home) while others enjoyed the hot tub. The house was immaculate. We feel blessed to have been able to find such a beautiful home. Laurie you have wonderful talents with your decorating.... We will be back!

We had a great time at Memory Lane Lodge. Came over for 5 days for Oktoberfest in Leavenworth and to enjoy the beautiful fall weather with family and friends. Our 2 year old LOVED all the toys and videos and we enjoyed the comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, open, friendly living area, and outdoor fire pit and hot tub. It was a beautiful, relaxing week. Thanks so much, Laurie!

We had the opportunity to spend several days at this wonderful cabin and would highly reccomend it to others. The cabin was spacious and easily accomodated our families (5 kids and 7 adults total). The interior was well organized and very clean. Everything that was described in the advertisement worked properly and the owners were timely in their reponse to information requests. The setting was perfect and allowed for easy day trips to Lake Wenatchee and the surrounding Nason Creek area. Most of the kids in our group were between 4 & 7 so we were particularly glad to see "kid friendly" touches including bunkbeds, toys, and age appropriate DVDs. This is definitely a place we'd rent again.

This is truly the ultimate vacation rental! It certainly exceeded our expectations! Wonderful features include the easy access, the closeness to local destinations, the gorgeous setting and the absolutely beautiful home. We experienced extreme comfort, peace aand tranquility in an amazing setting. We all fell in love with the house and especially it's lay out and interior decor. Laurie and her family have thought of everything to make this place something special. The loft bedroom area, main floor facilities and the downstairs living space were all fabulous and the home accommodated the entire family (including children) so nicely. The rope swing and hot tub in the backyard were a real treat. We are so grateful to have shared this place and thank the Rohrich's from the bottom of our hearts for such a fantastic vacation experience.

We had the privilege of staying here in May of 2009 for a family get together and had a great time! The house is very nice, the weather was great and the area is quiet and relaxing. Laurie was great to work with and if we ever find ourselves in this area again we would not hesitate to stay in this house!
Owner response:It is always nice working closely with kind families such as Jon's. My intent is to make the most out of your stay and to steer you in the right direction with your goals in mind; whether it's just some much needed R&R or you desire to delve into the many recreation activities the area has. I'll point you in the right direction. We strive to make the home comfortable and very clean; a place you'll want to come back to season to season!

Memory Lane Lodge is more than wonderful with enough space for large families and all of the details that make a vacation what it should be: a time to relax, rejuvenate, and reconnect with family. The lodge is beautifully decorated and provides everything one needs from comfortable beds, plenty of towels, a well-stocked kitchen/bar glasses, movies, cable radio/TV, library, and hottub! There is much to do in the Leavenworth Wenatchee areas. We spent the days hiking, skiing, shopping, and dining, and the evenings at the lodge playing games, reading, and sitting by the fire watching movies. We'll definitely return.

Thank you for sharing your home with us! We truly enjoyed our time spent there. It was the first snowfall of the season and our kids had plenty of fun sledding down the driveway. We played games and watched movies. We decorated cookies, went into Leavenworth for the lighting festival. It was fun for all. There were 4 families with us and plenty of room and a bed for all. We totally appreciated the space and all the amenities provided to us. This is the first time we ever got all our families together for a trip. If we work it our again to do it, we'll keep you in mind. Thank You.

We spent a long weekend at Memory Lane Lodge. The house is beautiful with all the amenities of home. We were very comfortable with one dog and 13 people. Sledding in the yard was fast and fun. Wenatchee State Park let us snowshoe and sled some more. We went to Mt. Springs Lodge for a sleigh ride and enjoyed all the fun in Leavenworth for Ice Festival. Laurie was very easy to talk to and provided us with everything we needed to share thier vacation home. This cabin is close to everything but far enough away that you feel 'away from it all.' We highly recommend a stay at Memory Lane Lodge.

We had an absolutely fabulous time, with 16 family members (and one dog) from three states. The entire family, included Grandma and Grandpa, had a blast sledding down the side yard. We had a great time at the tree lighting ceremony in Leavenworth, visited the hardware and grocery stores in Plain, and even met some of the friendly neighbors. This is a fabulous mountain retreat and we had a wonderful time!
