What a spectacular location! 'Casa Selva Caribe' is a new, luxury 3 bedroom villa set in the exclusive gated community of Playacar, within the Playamar development. The private patio leads out to the jungle views - between the villa and the golf course is only trees and plants! The front of the villa is just steps from the large shared pool and the famous Xaman-Ha bird sanctuary which is adjacent to the pool and just a few metres from the villa. Numerous tropical birds visit the pool area and with luck you may even spot a toucan while you swim.
Casa Selva Caribe is surrounded by the views of nature in a beautiful and tranquil setting, but it is still close to everything - just 5 minutes walk through a small park to the beach, or a similar distance to the 5th Avenue restaurants.
The villa is to the north of Playacar, close to the Playa del Carmen entrance.
Set in the exclusive gated community of Playacar, this large three bedroom villa sleeps 8.
Relax on the secluded patio or the upstairs terrace and listen to the natural sounds of tropical birds. The upstairs terrace has some great sunsets over the trees.
From the jacuzzi / bath you can look out over the tree tops.
The villa is new and opened in 2007.
Villa features:
3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, each en suite. There is a large, shared, swimming pool just steps from your front door. The large lounge has spectacular jungle views from full length windows which lead out to the patio.
The master bedroom has a jacuzzi and a private terrace with more great jungle views -you can sit in the jacuzzi with the open window and enjoy views of the jungle and listen to tropical bird song. There is a walk -in closet.
Every room has ceiling fans and air conditioning, although the generous high ceilings give a luxurious and cool feel even on the hot days.
Throughout the villa, the modern stylish Italian and Mexican furnishings compliment the house style.
Downstairs:
The large lounge enjoys great views to the patio and jungle from full length windows.
Sky TV, Plasma screen TV. Multi region DVD. Modern dining area has a view to the patio and jungle. The third bedroom has a queen bed and enjoys views of the jungle through full length windows. The third bathroom/shower is adjacent.
The patio has a large gas grill and is well stocked with furniture for outside dining.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a separate laundry room. Views from the kitchen to the swimming pool and aviary.
Upstairs:
The master bedroom has a King size bed, ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi and private terrace with jungle views to the golf course. Walk-in closet. Sofa
The second bedroom has two double beds. Ensuite bathroom with shower and views of the large shared swimming pool and the Playacar aviary.
The villa is managed by professional agents who are located nearby and will be pleased to assist you. Maid service is included and other services such as airport transfer and tours can be arranged.

It is wonderful to have such a tranquil location, where the only sounds are the tropical birds, but still be within a short walk of the town, beach or beach club. At the end of a day on the Caribbean beach, return to Casa Selva Caribe to watch the sun set over the trees or swim in the large pool!

This is a fantastic place to come back and relax after a nice stroll in downtown playa del carmen (also not far to walk, if you want to go to the restaurants / shops on 5th avenue), or after a day on the beach or a longer excursion into Yucatan! We especially liked the the tasteful furnishings and the equipment in the kitchen. There is even a blender to make smoothies or cocktails and in the garden there's a large BBQ, where you can prepare a meal while spotting exotic birds in the adjacent trees. There really is everything you need! Comfortable sunbeds, an extra balcony, a very nice bathroom with a whirlpool and lots and lots of space. And if you want to go for a quick swim but not in the sea, there is a shared pool just outside the front door. All together there is really nothing to complain about! We had a fantastic stay!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This villa more than lived up to expectations. It was spacious and light, and very comfortable. After a long journey we arrived when it was dark, and were amazed the next morning to see spectacular views of tropical birds just yards away from our balcony. The villa is spotlessly clean and well furnished, the beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped, with containers of purified water delivered frequently. It's in tranquil surroundings with the delightful pool a few paces from the door, and well kept grounds surrounded by forest. The beautiful beach is a short walk away past some Mayan ruins, and the main restaurants are within very easy walking distance. There's no need to hire a car, but we wanted to explore the region and the villa is a great base for visiting the Mayan ruins at Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza. We also did some excellent snorkelling in the lagoon at Akumal, just 30 minutes away. We would definitely recommend this villa to a friend or relative. The owners are extremely kind and helpful and made a fantastic choice when they chose this property.

We have just returned from a great week's vacation at Casa Selva Caribe (2 adults, 3 teenage boys). The villa is in an excellent location just 5 minutes walk to 5th Ave and 5 minutes walk from the caribbean sea. The standard of furnishings was excellent and the property was presented to a very high standard and kept cleaned throughout the week with maid service every other day. We used the management company to stock the fridge for our arrival which was great. The location of the villa beside the aviary and golf course was great, waking up in the morning to the sound of tropical birds was magical. Playa del Carmen is an excellent vacation location, safe and very friendly. The restaurants are first class and the scuba diving is great. Make sure you go on a trip to the Mayan ruins at Coba. All in all this property is the ideal place to stay to enjoy Playa del Carmen and the surrounding are. We have no hesitation is recommending Casa Selva Caribe to others.

We had 14 perfect days in this great, clean,spacy villa (family of 4 with two grown up kids). Very nice that the house was equipped with purified water and the most common spices for cooking. Lots of towels and cleaning every second day was perfect. At first we had troubles finding our way to the beach, but with a little help from the nice and helpfull nabo we found it. Only the birds in the nearby 'jungle' was a little desturbing in the morning. All in all a great accommodation, very well equipped and good location.

We had such an incredible time in your villa. First, the reservation process was a breeze and we received really helpful instructions before we left. The villa is gorgeous - light and spacious and very well equipped. The pictures don't do it justice. It is in a perfect location: 5 minutes walk to the beach (past very cool Mayan ruins) and 5 minutes to town. We were celebrating our birthdays with some dear friends and cooked many lovely meals on the grill, just relaxing by the pool -which was 3 steps from our door! The concierge, Juan, was super helpful; every need was cared for immediately and he even sorted out skydiving and deep-sea fishing for us. We couldn't have picked a better home for the long weekend and we will have beautiful memories forever. Thank you!
