  Our family spent two weeks at this lovely home in Poipu. The photos on the website looked so beautiful and the home was even prettier when we arrived!!! It was very well laid out for four couples with a bath for each and complete privacy. We also took the great apartment on the side for our son and daughter-in-law and as relative newlyweds, they had all the privacy they could ask for!!! The location was perfect for lots of walking and whale watching from the lanai. The lanai was absolutely perfect. There were lovely tables for dinner, plenty of comfy seating and the view of the sunset each night was spectacular. The kitchen had every appliance we needed and even two dishwashers! We liked everything about this house!!! Dealing with the owners was very pleasant and timely. We have already booked for next year!!

  This house was awesome! we had a group of 9 adults and there was plenty of room! you can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes, walk to a small shopping center that has restaurants and a small grocery store. The front porch faces the ocean and is just amazing! I have booked many homes via the web and have to say this one is my favorite! This house is in the South part of the Island which to me is the best part! Its just amazing, if you are like me and viewing different home in Kauai, you can stop looking because this one is your goldmine! seriously I cannot say enough about this house! I want to come back very very soon !!!!!

  We rented this house as a three bedroom for my family and our family friends. We were worried that this place was going to be too good to be true - the pictures are amazing, and the amenities are numerous. We were thrilled to find out this place is as great as it sounds. We checked in on a day when someone else had checked out, and the house was very clean. While we were there one of the property managers stopped by to fix a couple of items and drop off a full gas tank for the grill. The lanai facing the ocean is awesome; we spent many hours whale watching from the comfort of our rental. It was super convenient to have a garage, two washers and dryers, and two dishwashers. It was also great to have a pool, as my 18 month old asked to swim about every 2 hours while we were in Kauai. My only complaint about this property regards the pool - it was freezing cold. My husband and daughter were the only ones to brave it. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this rental to those looking for a house to stay in while on the South Shore of Kauai. It is a wonderful house in a great location. My sincere thanks to Jamie from the rental agency and the property managers for all they did to make our stay wonderful.

  My sister, brother-in law and I rented Honu La'e as a gift to our parents for their 50th wedding anniversary. It was all of our first time to Kauai and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The house was everything it was advertised as, and more. We spent hours on the deck enjoying the ocean view, spotting turtles and soaking in the spectacular sunsets every night. Everything about the house was comfortable and made us feel right at home. We appreciated all of the extra amenities like the dual washer/dryers and dishwashers and the air conditioned garage (that really makes a difference)! The pool was so relaxing and perfect for cooling off in the late afternoon after a day of adventuring. The house is in a great location. Close to beaches, snorkeling, shopping and great restaurants. We all had tears in our eyes when we pulled out of the driveway to head to the airport. We would highly recommend this house to anyone with a large family, kids or any type of special celebration.

  Hi Honu La'e owners, I think that the person that responded to my initial request for Honu La'e reservations was Jamie? First my complement to Jamie and the pleasure she provided when making the arrangements. And then we would like to convey our gratitude to have spent 11 days in such wonderful accommodations. The weather was perfect, ocean views with a sunset every night memorable, and such a convenient location for walk in both directions. I was sure surprised by the dry conditions and able to hike to Kalalau beach without the usual rain concerns. We shared your concerns for the beautiful wood floors and never opened the sleeper and installed felt runners on the porch rockers that were marring the deck finish. Even though the occasional tables have felt feet, I would request the cleaning company to vacuum the felt feet to remove sand that becomes embedded and scratches finish or replace with new felt. Once again, we had a wonderful time and wonder if we will stay in a home of such luxury again. It was interesting to be on Kauai during the Tsunami alert. From the over done news reporting, concern was for your home but proved to be unfounded. We would sure like to return again next year. Thank You. Keith

  Rented this house as a 3 bedroom for our spring break vacation to Kauai mid March. Wow!!! Spectacular, New, Stately, Light & Airy, Dream Home, Taken Away, Enjoyable, Living a Fantasy, Expansive, Private, Gorgeous View, Magnificant...All This and More. The description of this vacation house is everything and more that is described on the website. My husband, two teenage daughters and I spent 5 glorious nights and did not want to leave. It has above and beyond the comforts of home. After exploring the entire island, decided we had the Best location, house and view on Kauai. Alot of accomodations for the price. It was most pleasurable working with the management company and am so impressed that my request for a quick return on the security deposit was honored. My husband travels for a living and our family has traveled around the world, and I must say this property ranks in the Top 5 places we have stayed and Ranks #1 of the vacation houses we have stayed in. We are already looking at our calendar to see when we can return to this wonderful vacation home. Thank you for making our 2010 spring break vacation fabulous!!! Note: The only disappointment we experienced was that there is not a pool heater and water in mid March was a little too cool for our liking. Would be fine in warmer months. And if we were asked to make any suggestions for this rental property, it would be even more enjoyable if it had an outdoor jacuzzi/hot tub. Just a thought...

during holiday season). Payment to be made by cash, personal or business check,
travelers cheques.  Credit Card payments will be charged a 3% fee.
$2,000/Deposit. $445/Out Cleaning Fee.
In addition to the above fees, the state of Hawaii imposes an 12.25% tax. (13.25%
as of July 2010) Holiday Season .. Dec 15-Jan 15 (14 night minimum).
