Most romantic Paris Saint-Germain-des-Pres - The exceptional apartment location, 10 place Saint Sulpice, is in the heart of the district most in demand in Paris. Close to Saint-Germain-des-Pres and Luxembourg gardens, it's in the very center of Paris. The highest number of bus lines criss-cross the area and split into every direction, allowing you to get to any place of interest in Paris. Two convenient Metro stops on different lines are a stone’s throw away.

A network of small and picturesque historical streets surround the property, connecting with well-known Boulevard Saint-Germain, and its antique shops galleries, top fashion shops (Yves Saint-Laurent is in the next building), myriad restaurants and trendy cafés. Parisians flock to this area on Saturdays and holidays in droves, testimony to its popularity.

Every store needed for daily necessities is close at hand, traditional as well as luxurious, all accessible on foot. This historical area is totally safe and in addition the building boasts a highly secure access system.

The building is a small family house built about two hundred years ago, with exposed roof beams, oak parquets flooring and original fireplaces, soberly modernized respecting its character. The sunny and cozy 44 square metres (470 square feet) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fifth and top floor. The elevator goes to the fourth floor and the last level is accessible by a flight of steps.

The exposure is due south. The four windows provide a superb view on the large Saint-Sulpice square, its historical church, fountain and trees. The apartment is well-lit and extremely airy.

The living room is in "Zen" Japanese style, with light wood parquet-flooring, pieces of furniture and exposed roof beam. It includes a TV corner, a meal corner and an open kitchen with all mod-con appliances. The sofa-bed in front of the TV set may double as a 135 centimeter wide second bed, which should be folded up by day.

The spacious and bright bedroom includes a queen-size bed (160 centimetres wide), a desk and a designer washbasin which can be isolated by blinds from the rest of the room. The shower, large but not high (193 centimetres high), opens onto the room. Both rooms can be equipped with a mobile air-conditioner system upon request.

The apartment includes lots of storage space, and all windows are double-glazed and UV-proofed with rolling shutters. We provide a very complete set of amenities, including free access to ADSL and free unlimited phone calls to 50 countries around the world (see "Amenities" below).

  • In October 2009, I had a major milestone birthday which my husband and I celebrated in Paris. We stayed at Claude & Lucile's lovely apartment and it was the best week of my life. If you are looking for the perfect apartment in the perfect location in the perfect city (Paris, of course!), look no farther. This is a private, quiet, tranquil apartment in the middle of my favorite part of Paris. Anything you would want to do in Paris is easily accessible by foot or Metro. And Claude & Lucile are wonderful. You cannot find better hosts in this fabulous city. Whenever we come to Paris, this is the only place that we ever want to stay.

  • My wife and I just enjoyed a fantastic stay in this Rue St Sulpice apartment (Sep 13-18). It looks EXACTLY like the pictures posted. The apartment is in a great location. Bus lines right out front and 3 metro stations within several blocks. Best of all was the number of restaurants just around the corner, and Pierre Herme where you can get the absolute best macaroons in the city! My wife is the coffee drinker, and she thoroughly enjoyed using the Nespresso maker each morning for her daily jolt of caffeine. The apartment is up to date and spotless! Having the free phone service was extremely useful when we called home to check on the kids. Claude and Lucile were the perfect hosts. While the live one floor below the apartment, they are there if you need them but provide you with privacy and do not intrude on your stay. Upon our arrival, Claude took us on a brief tour of the neighborhood, pointing out the good restaurants and ones to avoid. All in all, a fantastic place and one that I highly recommend!

  • My wife and I recently stayed in this amazing apartment for a week (February 2009). I have stayed around the world from hostels to 5 star hotels and this is the best stay I have ever had. The apartment is simply in the best location in Paris - you are in an upscale yet historic square with a ton of shops and dozens of restaurants running up the alleys behind. The apartment: stocked with everything you would ever need to live there, let alone vacation...and more. Fresh flowers, fresh fruit, phone, mobile, maps, dishes, coffee, oils, you name it. The apartment is an incredible gem - remodeled very modern yet with old-world charm. Amazing views, clean and well appointed. But, what made this the best place was Claude and Lucile! They helped plan our trip, put our name on the buzzer and mailbox (who would be so thoughtful), made reservations, picked up tickets, toured us around the neighborhood and more. I can't recommend this apartment and wonderful Claude and Lucile enough.

  • my wife and i stayed in this fabulous apartment over new years. The owners were extremely gracious, helpful and honest. The apartment was perfectly situated near cafe's, bistro's, shopping, and metro. The apartment was perfectly appointed with all the amenities one could need and the owners were extremly accomodating with other necessities such as restaurant reservations, guide materials, scenic suggestions, or anything else we needed. We would strongly recommend the apartment, and even more importantly, the owners gracious hopsitality and comfort we felt when we arrived..thank you C & L for a most memeorable and amazing experience in paris

  • We greatly enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was clean, bright and had all the necessary conveniences for a comfortable stay on the heart of Paris. The owners were very friendly, gracious and helpful and willing to assist with advise on directions etc. The location is un-beatable for accessing the main attractions of the heart of Paris. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • My husband, teenage son and I stayed at this apartment for one week September 2008. We found the apartment and location to be fabulous! The apartment had everything you could need and plenty of room for the three of us. It was perfectly clean and looked even better than the photos suggested. The owners were very kind and took us on a neighbourhood walk to show us the best shops, restaurants etc. Claude even drove us and our luggage to the Metro to go to the airport! We hope to go back in the future and would certainly recommend this lovely apartment overlooking St Sulpice to anyone looking for accommodation in central Paris.
