Folks, If you are reading this review then you are looking for a place to stay at Kingston Plantation. Your search WILL STOP here. There is no need to look any further than this listing. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here this past weekend (9/15-9/18) and it BY FAR exceeded our expectations. The description of the place does not do it justice. You have an ocean view in every room to listen to the waves crashing. And you can be on the beach with your toes in the sand in less than 5 minutes!! A quick 5 minute ride by car and your right in the heart of all that North Myrtle has to offer. This place has it all. And the owner...by far the easiest and nicest person you could ever rent from. He responds to emails quickly and will bend-over-backwards to accommodate your needs to make your stay memorable. I promise you WILL NOT be sorry when renting this unit. Do yourself and your family a favor and rent this unit. Once you do, you will be a fan for life!!

Doug, thank you very much again for shearing your lovely condo with us. The unit is great!!! Has everything what you may want and need. It even had beach toys for children and a couple puzzles in the leaving room. We have no children, but families with children would appreciate it. The unit has beach chairs, so you don’t have to bring your own. I don’t even have enough words to describe the balcony. Its HUGE and overlooks the ocean. We used to eat only on the balcony (it has big table, chairs). I could talk for hours about this condo… But it’s better to see one time than to hear about it a hundred times :) Thank you, Doug!!!

This was our second stay in this beautiful condo and we love it. The entire complex at Kingston Plantation is so well maintained and the amenities are awesome. The elevators are quick and the security of a gated community makes this a wonderful place to stay and especially in this condo. It has beautiful decor and is top notch in every way. I can't say enough about the HUGE balcony and the access from both bedrooms and the living room onto the balcony. The condo is so quiet, there are no bedrooms with windows into hallways like some complexes so there is no noise from the hallway. Closet space is great especially the walk in closet in the master bedroom. The owners are so easy to work with and we can't say enough good things about the condo, the complex and the owners.

This condo was the best place that we have stayed at the beach with our kids. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage space so suitcases can be put away. The property has so many amenities that are great for families and individuals. The balcony is incredible and overlooks the pools and ocean. The decor is beautiful and the unit is well taken care of. It was great to have a washer/dryer in the unit as well. The owner was great to work with! We will continue to use this condo in the future and are looking forward to our next trip! The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful as well. The entire campus is well maintained and kept clean and secure. Close parking to building and elevators are very quick (hardly any wait time). Great location to many restaurants and activities. THANKS FOR A GREAT CONDO!

Thank you Doug for sharing your lovely condo. We were there for the month of March and hope to return in the fall. Everything was as accurate as described. The condo was actually furnished nicer than we thought it was going to be. Kingston Plantation is a very lovely area. We enjoyed the beach as well as the walking trails on the Plantation. The view is beautiful from the extra large balcony. The beds were very comfortable. Nothing negative here---POSITIVE STAY HERE--YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Incredible Condo and even more Incredible Owner!!!!!

This place was paradise....the unit was pristine and immaculate. Incredible view!! All the luxuries of home in this one. The owner, Doug, bent over backwards with super fast communication and was extremely accomidating. You are the best, Doug!! You will not be disappointed in renting this unit and you will be especially pleased with dealing directly with the owner. We loved that the entire resort was gated and patrolled keeping those who don't belong on the property.....off the properties. We also loved the limited access to everything....you need a key to access the facilities. This also keeps the resort secured and safe. We have 2 small children and never felt more safe with them in this resort. We will be back next year....and, thanks Doug!!

After reading the other reviews, I was expecting the condo to be nice and it was WONDERFUL. The balcony went across the sliding glass doors of the living room, 2nd bedroom and master bedroom. No one missed out on the views. The master bedroom had a WALK IN CLOSET so all the suitcases, coolers, etc could be stored there and we weren't walking over them like we have done in some rentals. The decor was beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were so easy to work with and sent the keys out by priority mail since we rented at the last minute. We had an awesome vacation and will be back.

Not well maintained Condo - Do not recommend

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at this condo. The condo was dirty with very moldy shower curtains (in both showers) and shower handles that were cracked, broken, and unusable in the Master Bath. Scant items in kitchen to cook with, crumbs in utensil tray and filthy kitchen. The condo was not well maintained, cleaning wise as well. When we pointed out the problems with the owners, they first promised to return the cleaning fee and then made up various excuses as to not return it. We never heard back from the owners after phone calls and emails and determined they were not trustworthy. The decor is dated with older furniture, linens, etc. as compared to other local condos at the Kingston. We will not stay there again and would not recommend it to others.

Owner response:We had trouble with these renters. They are retaliating and being libelous. It is clear by all of the positive reviews that this is a isolated dispute with very unreasonable and irrational guest. They have been our only regret and negative experience since we have been renting with VRBO. Please see the overwhelming positive comments on our beautiful professionally decorated condo.

Our stay at this condo in mid-June was wonderful! Our only decision was pool or beach? The unit was beautifully decorated and very comfortable! The king size bed in the master was the most comfortable bed we have been in away from home! The kitchen had everything we needed. Our favorite spot was eating meals or just hanging out on the massive patio with an awesome ocean view! Most surprising was how easy it was to work with the owner! He was very responsive and accessible! Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation! This is our #1 choice when we are in Myrtle Beach!

My family and I stayed here for one week in June. We absolutely loved it. The condo was very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The condo had all the amenities you will need and more. The kids loved the easy access to the pools and beach. The view from the large furnished balcony was very nice. Doug and Amy were great to deal with and very accommodating. We would love to stay again in the future.

My family stayed at this location over memorial day weekend, and we had a blast. It was decoreated beautifully, very comfortable and being right there on the beach made everything very easy with 2 small children. The washer and dryer are the best i have ever used just had to put that in there. The property owners were always nice and willing to answer any ?s. In the future i hope we can make it back and stay here again. It is an awesome deal and a beautiful place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at the above condo for two weeks in March. I found this condo at the North Hampton Tower to be a very reasonable and beautiful condo with a delightful view. The individuals who own this condo were pleasant to rent from and hope that some time again we will be staying at North Hampton. I would recommend this to anyone. It was clean, nicely decorated with all the conveniences.
