Here are some Spring/Summer/Fall suggestions from Mindie:
* Outdoor summer concerts are big in Park City. As you know they have them at the Canyons, Deer Valley, and smaller venues in the Park City area. Usually for my guests I put together picnic baskets full of their favorite foods and drink. * Mtn biking at Deer Valley. They can walk across the street to access the lift. This is my favorite summer activity! The bike patrol puts your bike on the lift and you can bike down the mountain. For beginners they can rent bikes and take a lesson or two from Deer Valley, which I recommend. Not just anyone should ever venture down this steep mountain. You can also rent bikes at Stein Eriksen Lodge. I really like their quality of downhill bikes much better than Deer Valley. You pay a bit more, but it's worth it! It's like golfing, the better equipment you have, the better you play. * Golf - Golfing in Midway is the BEST! With the 3 award winning golf courses to choose from only 25 minutes from the Black Bear. Wasatch Golf Course was voted one of the "best places to play" in Golf Digest. * Fly Fishing - Always a big hit with my guests. I sent them to Rocky Mtn Outfitters to fish on the Provo river. * Jordanelle Resevoir - rent a boat and jet ski. They also have sailboat tours that include lunch. * Horseback Riding * Hot Air Balloon Rides w/campagne toasts. They do offer non-alcoholic as well. * Utah Olympic Park - Ever Saturday during the summer they offer a 30-minute choreographed ariels show. Fun family activity where the athletes train on the ski jump and land in a 750 gallon pool at the bottom. * Park City Food and Wine Classic - this event just gets bigger each year. Very popular. This year the dates are July 10 - 13. * Arts Festival - August 1 - 3 * Jazz Festival - Popular activity! August 22 - 24 * Gondola Rides - The Canyons * Park City Mtn Resort - Great for kids. They offer alpine slide, alpine coaster, miniature golf, zipline ride.
