This was a perfect setting for a girls' get-away adventure. The chalet met all our needs and was very comfortable and spacious for the three of us. We enjoyed hiking in Pine Mountain and biking throughout Calloway Gardens. The weather was marvelous! This was our sixth visit to PMCC and undoubtedly one of the best. It's been six years since our last visit. It's great to be able to get on the website to check out what is available and see the interior. Once we saw # 11 we knew this was the one. You are to be commended for all the updated renovations and time and thought put into decorating and sturdy and comfortable furniture in the family room. Love the bird houses and pictures. The large deck and close view of the lake are so relaxing and refreshing. We need the peace and quiet and small town to make our 45th anniversary special and memorable. We flew in for our cousin's wedding which was also held at Pine Mountain Chalets. We are from Minnesota and use to Northern resorts and cabins (we are known for our 10,000 lakes!). However, I have to tell you, your beautiful cabin would fit "right in" back home! It is beautifully decorated, well-stocked, and very warm & welcoming! We had a wonderful time staying here! P.S. We feel so fortunate to have found this lovely get away. We were here to attend a wedding in Smith Station Alabama, a 45 minute drive from here. It was the perfect get-away from all the busy, busy pre-wedding jitters and work that comes with being the Mother of the Bride and family. The listing description was dead on target, the photos show a complete and true layout and furnishings; the property was exceptionally well maintained and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone seeking a quiet, restful stay in a lovely peaceful location. Dishes, linens and other living essentials were well-stocked. My 4 sisters and I vacationed for 5 days here in October of 2010. The cabin is in great shape and has all the conveniences of home. There's nothing I would change to improve this cabin. The amenities are exceptional and it is a short drive to everything including great restaurants, shopping and attractions. We loved it and would go back any time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
