False advertisement! This is not a 6 bdrm house.

This is a 5 bedroom house. They put sliding doors in the middle of one of the bedrooms and call it two. So you have to walk through one "bedroom" to get to the other. This was a big issue for our group b/c we planned on having 6 bedrooms, not 5 where 2 couples would have to share. The house was dirty. The supposed game room was a couch, tv, and broken arcade game. The guest book in the house indicates we were certainly not the first unhappy guests.
Owner response:Our listings clearly explain the benefits of this home, with three King Master Suites and four bathrooms and plenty of space for the group. One of our King master Suites was so large that we have split it off, so that the bunkroom is separate from the King bed. Most families that rent the home love the extra space with the privacy and specifically request this property because of this setup. In this case, that setup was clearly explained to the guest before she rented the home both in conversation and by email. We also have a foosball table upstairs with a bookcase full of books and other table games and games for kids. Downstairs we have an arcade game which does indeed work. Our comments over the last five years on all four of our homes have been almost uniformly positive, as you can see from viewing our homes listed on vrbo.com and homeaway.com. We were disappointed in this comment, which is simply not reflective of the home or the experience. Had this guest reached out during her stay, we would have gladly accommodated her. We have 24-hour service from our onsite manager, who provides truly exceptional service. And we have reached out to this guest multiple times by phone and email for further clarification without any response. We aim to provide excellent service for all renters.

We loved the house. It was new, clean & spacious - perfect for multiple families. It was also very convenient for some late season (reduced rate) skiing.

We really enjoyed your house and all the activities located near it. Everything about the hosue was perfect for a large group with small children. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely house. The snow was awesome.

It was wonderful to usher in 2009 ALL together in your beautiful home. The View is spectacular. We enjoyed snow tubing, skiing, hiking and the water park - WOW! There's so much to do. This is our third time to all stay at Massanutten and your house was our favorite. Thanks!

I loved the view of the slopes and the feel of the carpet. The house was perfect for our stay. Thanks for letting us stay at this wonderful house. I loved the rooms and the TV, also the foosball. I hope I can come back to this house. It is nice. I enjoyed it and had lots of fun. The couch was very comfortable. The house was very homey. The bed was very comfy. I love The View.

Thanks for such a wonderful weekend. Everything was perfect as perfect can be. The house was beautiful, love the light the big windows provided. No wonder the house is called The View. Thanks for letting us stay here. I loved the view of the ski slopes and that the ski slopes were lit up during the night.

There was a lot of room for our group. The foosball table was cool, as was the videogame downstairs. The wireless internet was fantastic, and the grill was very useful. Thank you. P.S. Nice view!
