Experience our luxurious, secluded Hawaiian paradise overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the shoreline of Hulapo'e Bay and its sandy, pristine beach. The peace and tranquility of sparsely populated Lana'i replenishes your body and soul. The association of two five-star Four Seasons resorts allows the amenities of superb dining, swimming pools, tennis, sunning, exercise facilities, beauty spa and beach kiosk with the purchase of the Island Club Guest Pass.
This house is perfect for so many vacation possibilities. There are 3 gorgeous bedrooms with grand comfortable beds and stunning views. Three couples and then some could gather here. An extended family could rendezvous. Golfers can play two courses ranked in the top five golf courses in the world: The Challenge at Manele designed by Jack Nicklaus and the Experience at Koele designed by Greg Norman. Grandmothers and grandfathers who may want an easier holiday can stroll to the beach, the pool, or just outside to the terrace. Those wanting a more active holiday can rent jeeps or quads and head off to deserted beaches for surfing, kayaking, shelling and picnicking. They can drive the primitive Monroe Trail along the ridge that straddles the spine of the island. They can take a junket out to Shipwreck Beach where turtles abound or one may spy a sunning Hawaiian Monk Seal. One can rent 4 wheel ATV's to make touring the island even more exciting -- frolic on the sand dunes of Polihu'a Beach or ride down the Awehi Trail to Lopa Beach.
Whale watching, during season, from the upstairs patio or terrace is wonderful. They are just out there jumping, breaching, spouting, even birthing. Often, the spinner dolphins come to the nearby Hulapo'e Bay to hang out for a few hours or a day. Many are graced with the sight of them playing, jumping, spinning while some even will get to swim with them -- almost a religious experience.
The kitchen is perfect. There's bountiful room to store the gorgeous vegetables, fish and breads that you can buy in town (20 minute drive). There are great marble counters for preparing the meals you choose to eat at home. We recommend most meals be barbecued on the outdoor grill and to be eaten on the terrace, but there's a lovely dining area, too.
This is truly a unique and special, tropical island experience. |
