I am an owner of Villa del Palmar timeshare weeks at the Villa del Palmar in Cabo San Lucas and also represent other timeshare owners at the same resort. These owners do not have the time or expertise to rent the weeks for themselves so I offer this service for them. The weekly rates are very low as compared to the advertised rates of the resorts and there are no additional hidden fees or taxes involved.
If I make a reservation for you I can hold this reservation for 24 hours (close of business the next business day) without charge. I would send you the reservation via email attachment which is provided to give you a comfort level the transaction is legitimate. You can also call the resort to confirm the reservation is in place and in your name.
I would send you a PayPal "Money Request" for approximately 30% of the gross rental amount which must be paid within the 24 hour window. PayPal transactions are very simple and allow you to register and pay by credit card.
Approximately 60 days prior to arrival, I would send you a reminder email of the balance due on the rental. This balance due can be paid by personal check or if you prefer PayPal, I would add on a 4% PayPal charge.
