Lovely, large, upscale log home located in a small gated community at the end of cul de sac. Located in Wears Valley, we have easy access to The Smokies, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Covered and screened porches and decks abound with rocking chairs, shade trees, and long-range views. Gathering room has stacked stone fireplace, hardwood floors, big windows to bring the outdoors in, two dining settings, very nice oak cabinets and new appliances in kitchen. Two bedrooms and one bath on main floor. Upstairs has master bedroom suite w/private balcony, Jacuzzi room, and large loft perfect for reading, crafts, workouts, even has an extra bed. Downstairs is really inviting; large screen TV, leather sofas, pool table, foosball, wet bar, and large screened in wrap around deck with hot tub. Lower level has another bedroom with private bath as well as a laundry room.
Dancing Bear is a privately owned, spacious, upscale four bedroom, three bath luxury mountain cabin sitting at over 1,500 feet in the woods of Hide-Away Mountain. It is situated in beautiful Wears Valley providing wonderful access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Wears Valley.
This luxury cabin features a floor to ceiling glass wall giving you a wonderful panoramic view of the mountains and forest. Enjoy the view from inside or from one of the three levels of wrap around decks. The main deck has rocking chairs, patio table and chairs for outside dining and a barbecue grill. Screened deck also has patio table.

During a vacation in the Smokies, we absolutely fell in love with Wears Valley ... We love its proximity to the Smokies, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and that we're not in the main traffic flow. We purchased Dancing Bear Cabin in 2007 as a place for our family to vacation together. We love that Dancing Bear is secluded on a heavily treed lot without other cabins being on top of us -- yet being close to all of the attractions in the area. We're happy to be able to share our beautiful vacation home with your group :)

My family had a terrific time at the Dancing Bear Cabin although it is very large to be called a cabin. The group consisted of nine adults with six between 5'11" and 6'4" so we are large people. We all had plenty of room and the common areas are very spacious. The cabin is located at the end of a road so there was no traffic and the wooded area gave a great feel of seclusion. I especially enjoyed the rocking chairs on the the second deck. Perfect place for coffee and a book. The only problem I had was that we had to leave too soon. Would love to have stayed a few more days. We will definitely be coming back to the Dancing Bear! It is close to the Cades Cove area (my favorite) and an easy drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. All around just a terrific place to stay.

Our family reunion of 12 people and 3 generations really enjoyed this house, nestled in the woods. The 3 levels for bedrooms suited our four families perfectly. It provided privacy and plenty of activities within a short drive. The owners were so helpful with every detail or question we asked.

Hi Cindy and Tom, We had the best vacation ever at Dancing Bear Cabin!!!! Our two sons, one's wife, one's girlfriend, our granddaughter, and we had the most incredible stay at your "home." Even my parents came to stay with us for three nights. We got to bring in the New Year together! It was just wonderful!! We did a lot of things away from the cabin, but we stayed at there and played games and rested alot, too!! It was so peaceful and comfortable. I hope the both of you have as great a time at the cabin as we did and that you have a very happy, healthy new year!! Thanks again,

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. Everything was in perfect shape and we loved how well outfitted the kitchen was. We loved the location ... it's secluded but close enough to everywhere we wanted to go Everyone in our group suggested that we make Dancing Bear our full time cabin of choice. My wife and I agree.
