"Les Cerisiers" is a traditional stone chalet built in 1998, and nestled in the high alpine village of Vallorcine, on the river Eau Noire.
Chamonix/Mont Blanc is a short 20 minute drive away, with the ski station at Grands Montets only ten minutes by car. A 12 km cross-country set track runs through the property at river level. Summer boasts fishing from the property, unlimited hiking and wildlife viewing, and tennis courts are a five minute walk. In July the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland is 1 hour away.
The chalet is cozy, yet modern with heated tile floors in the bathrooms and heated towel racks, high-quality linens, and feather duvets. Furnished with antiques as well as new, the views are southwesterly of surrounding peaks, forests, and open meadow. Pets are NOT allowed, No Smoking.
This chalet offers a unique experience for those desiring a real taste of old France, yet located very close to internationally-renowned resorts. |
