Located in the former 1920's Atkinson Boot Manufacturing Company building, this is one of the most unique spaces you will come across. This new Condo development combines both the old structural quality of the original structure, with the modern feel of new construction. Twelve foot ceilings, with the original exposed concrete columns and I-beams and salvaged windows used as accents in the interior of this condo all lend to this mix of old and new. Curved interior walls and a "funky" little loft make this condo an interesting and comfortable "home" base for your Ludington vacation. This condo has just been completed and is outfitted with all new furnishings.
The building is located across the street from the Ludington Harbor View Marina and the gorgeous new waterfront park. Walk to the eclectic collection of shops where you'll find everything from antiques to fine art to collectibles to souvenirs and everything in between. There are also retaurants, a movie theater, the brewpub and the House of Flavors ice cream parlor within walking distance.
One of the most beautiful beaches in the world is located 5 blocks away. Walk out to the Ludington Lighthouse on the breakwater and the take some time to explore it inside and out. Also about 6 miles away is Ludington State Park, a great place to explore, beach comb, hike or bike. Take a tour of the Big Sable Lighthouse located in the park. It is also open to the public and the view from the top is spectacular.
We offer three bedrooms, plus the "funky" loft, and two full baths. The master suite has a comfortable wrought iron king bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has a twin daybed with a matching trundle bed. The loft has a queen mattress.
Ludington, Michigan is located just 1.5 hours north of Grand Rapids, Michigan or about 4 hours from both Chicago and Detroit. Ludington is also accessible by the Badger Car-ferry from the port of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. A four hour adventure!
Come "home" after a day of play and adventure to enjoy a home cooked meal while going over the day's fun and making your plans for the next day. After dinner, relax in the private, heated, indoor pool, or hot tub to unwind after your day at play.

Return visit to "The Loft at Ludington". We just hung out and relaxed. made good use of the pool and hot tub. Watched movies and played games with out daughters. House of Flavors 60th anniversary. Yum.

We ate and drank. Chef John's for breakfast- great quiche. Luciano's for dinner. Pizza was fantastic. We also went to the "Craft Show at The Barn" and then did some wine tasting at Jomaghra winery. Thanks for a great time, love the loft.

Loved the State Park beach and all of it's hiking trails and of course, House of Flavors. The children loved the beach and the waves. The condo and its location were great. Loved the indoor pool, it was nice to get out of the sun for a while and we could swim anytime. It fit our sleeping needs perfectly. The little girls loved the trundle bed(and loved to climb into the little loft with their uncle). Thanks for the memories.

Great spending time with family! The condo was very comfortable (not to mention interesting!) and helped make our stay very comfortable and relaxing. We recommend Spanky's pizza, Ronnies Rib Rack, Jamesport Brewery, Kuntry Kubbard, River Run canoe Livery in Scottville and the hiking trails in the state park.

Loft at Ludington Milton Indianapolis, Indiana area. Date Submitted: June 30, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008 This was a great place to stay with the entire family. Clean condo with enough room to spread out and just relax. Indoor pool was a bonus where we didn't have to pack up and go to the beach. We could run down stairs and swim for an hour or two with the kids. We used the kitchen quite often for breakfast and lunch, and went out to dinner at Mancinos, James Street Station, Butts and Bones, and a visit to the House of Flavors for desert. The playground was within walking distance and we visited it just about everyday. The roof view was nice to watch the Badger Boat come and leave every day. We liked the fact that we were able to do our own thing without someone checking in on us. The coded entry was a bonus also. We didn't have to figure out where the keys were, or who had them last. I would highly recommend this property. We have been to Ludington for many years, and this was the best place we've stayed in all the years we've been going. Already planning the trip for next year. Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway, Sightseeing

Luxury in Ludington Bev and Family Perrysburg, OH. Date Submitted: July 09, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008 We were so thrilled with our stay at the Loft at Ludington. The condo was not only immaculate, but also so accomodating to all of our needs. The fully stocked kitchen made it so easy for us to prepare meals for the whole family. It was great to find all the little extras in the condo that made our family feel right at "home!" It was also great that most all the area attractions were located within walking distance. Thank you Jeff and Cindy for being so easy to work with and helping make our family vacation one of the best in years!
