This classic Sun Valley home sits on the saddle between Sun Valley and Ketchum with views of Baldy and Dollar and is walking distance to the Sun Valley Lodge and Village, downtown Ketchum, free busses to Ski areas and golf courses. Spacious kitchen, dining and living room area, with vaulted ceilings. Ideal for family gatherings, entertaining or small group retreats. Three bedroom (3 king beds), three bath home. Two of the bedrooms are master bedrooms with king beds and direct deck access with mountain views. The third bedroom has a king bed with bathroom and a loft with two twin beds.
The central living area wraps around a large fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped. The dining room area seats 10 at table and 4 at the bar. Three stairs step down to a comfortable living room, adult and children's games, conversational seating and reading areas for 10 with beautiful views and backyard deck access. Entertaining is a joy in this home!
The largest bedroom, the Feathered Nest, features a downy featherbed, an elegant seating area with floor to ceiling windows and direct deck access. The second bedroom, the Bear's Den, is cozy with down comforters and a fascinating library featuring Idaho history and outdoor adventures. The third sleeping area is a loft/office overlooking the library/media room...a complete private retreat.
The home has a beautiful large manicured lawn with mature landscaping. A roomy multi-level, very private deck off both master bedrooms and living room spans the back of the house, and is a joy in winter and summer. A large two car garage and circular driveway has plenty of off street parking. Pets are welcome on property. The large yard is fenced and safe for dogs with a built in dog kennel off the garage, and comfortable dog beds are scattered throughout the house.
