The home is perfect ! It had everything we needed for a relaxing girls weekend get away! We enjoyed listening to the creek, the hot tub and the comfy sofas were great for movie watching while it rained !!! The fall colors were beautiful, and we enjoyed browsing in the little shops and produce stands nearby. The house is also very clean, which we certainly appreciated! We will be back, thanks so much !!

Wow! My family and I loved the quaint feeling of the cottage. Felt like home! We really enjoyed our stay and wished that we could have stayed longer. The beautiful creek in the back and the stunning stars at night were just breathe taking. We would absolutly stay here again.

This was our second stay at Creekside. My wife and I love staying here and have found it to be the most relaxing vacation spot. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The owners are extremely accommodating, pleasant and great to deal with as a guest. We definitely plan to visit again next year.

Excellent Property. Every creature comfort you can think of from home. It's clean, quite, and relaxing. Grab a book and read on any one of the seveal porches. Have a glass of wine by Hickory Nut Creek. Enjoy a romantic evening by the fire, in the hot tub or in the jacuzzi tub. Cook a family meal and enjoy in the spacious dining room. Play games with the kids on the sun porch while listening to the babbling creek. Skip rocks in the creek and roast marshmellows at the fire pit. An all around cottage that meets everyone's needs. Visiting Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Asheville, Hendersonville and Black Mountain are easy day visits.

Thank you so much for sharing your warm and inviting retreat with our family. We enjoyed our stay so much. The rushing stream is so relaxing. We were tempted to stay here and not bother with seeing the sights. We have never rented such an adorable and clean cottage like yours in this area before. Hope it will be available next year.

We feel very fortunate to have found your place on such short notice. You can rest assured we enjoyed everything it had to offer. From stargazzing in the hot tub, to cooling our feet in the river, to playing music on the sun porch. A wonderful experience! We won't soon forget the sound of the river as we enjoy the magnolias.

What a blessing it was to stay at your cottage in "Bat Cave'. The inside is so well appointed and meets all your needs and more. We enjoyed the outdoors as well, with the soothing sounds of the creek and the relaxing hot tub. Thanks for helping to make our stay memorable.

My wife and I had an alright time at the house. The hot tub was very nice, and the stream behind the house was bigger than we expected. It wasn't exactly a mountain view, however--the backyard just faces the side of a mountain. We were a little disappointed that when we arrived at the time we discussed with the owner, he wasn't there to let us in, and we had to wait for him to tidy up some stuff when he finally arrived. On the positive side, the price was low, but you get what you pay for.

Thank you sharing this home on such short notice. Had an urge to get away and to get in touch with our inner selves. My girlfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend getaway this past January, 2011. Going through VRBO, the owner gave us an unbelievable rate on our stay here. This cottage is HUGE - more than enough space for just she and I. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the lage creekside hot tub - while the outside January temp. was 15 degrees! Kind locals and awesome restaurants complimented our short trip to the NC mountains.

I got this house for a very last minute weekend for four nights, and it was awesome! It was everything that I wanted and more. The house was very secluded, but it was only 20 minutes to Asheville. And the drive was amazing! I can't say enough about how cozy the home was and how amazing the creek sounded from the hot tub. It has been a long time since I got back from vacation and actually felt relaxed. I'm planning on going back in February for another week!

We had an amazing weekend! This cottage is jusst what we were looking for and in such a perfect location. WE have never visited this part of NC. The sound of the river and cozy fireplace made the weekend one of the most relaxing I've had. The hot tub put a nice cap on all the fun we've had here. Our stay was wonderful! "Peaceful & relaxing" don't quiet describe it. We love this area and have made many trips for Applle picking with family. Thanks so much for your special attention to details - the cottage is perfect but nothing compares to the million dollar sound....it lulled us to sleep each night and destressed us during the day
