Pick up your provisions in the exciting town of Black Mountain and after a wonderful meal at one of the many excellent restaurants in town (including the BEST PIZZA in all of North Carolina at OUR FATHER's Pizza) drive south on Route 9 along a beautiful "switch-back" road crossing the Eastern Continental Divide at 3028 feet for 10 miles and you will arrive at Spring Acres Lane Log Cabin. Built in 1922, it will accommodate all of your needs for a relaxing and exciting vacation. Remember to rock on the porch and listen to the Broad River flow by.
You will come back time and time again to experience this travel "back in time ".
Listen to the sound "white noise" of the Broad River to soothe your senses all day long. ,cabin is located halfway between Lake Lure / Chimney Rock to the right and Black Mtn / Montreat to the left. Once in Black Mtn only 14 miles (West) to Ashville and Biltmore Estates.
