Pick up your provisions at the Ingles or Bi-lo Supermarkets in the exciting town of Black Mountain or at the Artisians gormet Market in Cheshire village on the way up the hill to the cabin and after a wonderful meal at one of the many excellent restaurants in town The Viranda , Our Fathers Pizza , Fresh(with a wood-burnuing pizza oven) Que Sera (Mexican) drive south on Route 9 along a beautiful "switch-back" road crossing the Eastern Continental Divide at 3028 feet for 10 miles ( the Straight Away cafe will greet you at about 5 miles along the way - terriffic food and live music on Fri and Sat evenings)and you will arrive at Spring Acres Lane Log Cabin. Built in 1922, it will accommodate all of your needs for a relaxing and exciting vacation. Remember to rock on the porch and listen to the Broad River flow by.
