I had an extremely great stay at this condo. The place was immaculate when we got there and furnished not like a rental but someone's home. The balcony was huge and overlooked the pool-jacuzzi area. We met the owner who is so personable you just wanted to keep visiting with her. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants a nice, comfortable place to stay and hassle free. It was also pet friendly which was a great find. Having your pet with you makes a vacation so much nicer not having to worry about it being boarded at a kennel.

My stay was a 60th birthday present from my best friend. It could not have been any more wonderful. The condo is spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped and the shower was heavenly. We all found the beds to be very comfortable and we couldn't have been happier with the huge balcony. On our last day we met the owner,Gisela. She was so nice that we asked her to stay and have a cup of coffee. I, for one, would defiantly like to return and wouldn't hesitate to rent this lovely condo.

This is a very nice place to bring your family and relax!! It was very clean, kitchen was fully equiped, the huge balcony overlooks the pool, and elevator and stairs are right around the corner from the room. It sits right infront of the seawall with restaurants, movie theater and putt-putt right down the street. We even got the chance to see a couple of dolphins come to where the fishermen were fishing. I will definately bring the family back and try and stay a bit longer next time! Gisela was a wonderful hostess and even let us know of some place to go to.......Thank you again for sharing your place with my family!!

Thank you Gisela for sharing your beautiful place with us. The pictures could not do it justice and the patio was outstanding. Everything was available to us and the location was convenient to shopping, attractions and the seawall. Your recommendations were perfect and the Gumbo on Post office street was excellent. Overall it was an amazing stay...one we will not forget.

Nicely decorated, well provisioned spacious condo with beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico enjoyed from an unusually large patio which also overlooks the attractive pool and hot tub. Western view for warm afternoon sun. In unit steam shower a unique pleasure to enjoy. The owner(also owns and leases the adjacent condo, which we have also rented for vacation period0 is very personable and helpful providing information about the area). Friends and relatives who visited us during our stay were equally impressed. Have rented a lot of condos and this is one to return to many times.

Wow! What an awesome condo. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great get away. We stayed for two weeks. The condo had all the essentials of home. The beds were a 5 star, extremely comfortable. All of the linens were nice. Nothing to complain about!! The views were probably the best available at Maravilla, you had a perfect view of the beautiful pool yet could still see the ocean. We had some hesitation about staying at a "by owner" place instead of a nice hotel. After we arrived we realized there was no better decision. The owner was very easy to work with and made herself available to answer any questions we had. Did I mention the shower? It was unbelievable! After a long day at the beach there was nothing better than returning to a fabulous spa shower. The patio was better than expected. Each morning we spent having coffee on the over sized patio and then lounging in the lounge chairs. This is my new home away from home. Thank you for making your condo available for my family.

This condo was very nice and comfortable. The shower was great and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The balcony was huge and can accommodate everyone. The balcony had several lounge chairs, a table with chairs and two umbrellas to provide shade if desired. The view is wonderful of the water and pool and palm trees that can be viewed from the living area or balcony. We would definitely stay here again. My whole family enjoyed the weekend,even our canine kids. We so appreciated being able to bring our dogs. Only problem was the weekend flew by to quick. Thanks Gisela for sharing your home with us. We appreciated your timely responses via e-mail during the rental process. It was such a pleasure doing business with you. We hope to return soon.

This condo was the best I have stayed at in Galveston. The balcony is wonderful, the beds are incredible. This condo not only looks great but the beds are sooo comfortable. The listing descriptio was accurate regarding the location, the photos accurately reflect the appearance of the condo. It was clean and very well maintained. Next time I go to Galveston I will check to see if this condo is available. Thank you for sharing your condo with us.

The condo is beautiful, modern, and has easy to use well equipped kitchen. It has a great view from the balcony Steam, spa shower is heavenly The bed is very comfortable and everything is very clean. This condo is beautifully decorated and most inviting, with every comfort in mind. The bedrooms were beautfully appointed, with plush bedding and showering was a luxurious experience! Gisela is a thoughtful hostess and the entire stay was a pleasure. We will visit her condo again.

Gisela is a wonderful hostess and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction - she even left us condiments and all the spices we would need for cooking, very thoughtful. We were very comfortable and felt more at home than anywhere else (thanks to Gisela's wonderful decorating sense). Maravilla is still recouping from Ike and a fire, but the unit itself does not reflect any of that stress. We took many walks on the beach and the seawall (right across the street), grocery shopping and downtown/entertainment area is convenient. Beds are so comfy and the shower is beyond compare. The large balcony was a wonderful place to watch the ocean, butterflies, pelicans and a beautiful sunset each night - we even had a storm that was exciting to witness! We would recommend to anyone - a great value. Thanks Gisela.

An absolute find! This is the only place I will stay in Galveston from now on...my home away from home...it is so much more than you expect any rental to be...the grounds are inviting and the condo has everything you need. We really enjoyed our 5 week stay in this unit. It was very comfortable and well appointed. Everything we needed was provided including soft sheets and plush towels. The shower is fabulous! We enjoyed the large balcony for relaxing, dining and viewing the sunsets that were beautiful! We are looking forward to our stay next year.

This is a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay. The owner has spared no expense in redoing this unit. The shower is FABULOUS!!!!! We spent 5 weeks here during the winter and had a great time. Gisella is a wonderful hostess and made us feel welcome in her home.
