Just steps from the Gulf and steps (just across the street) to the neighborhood swimming pool on site. Our home offers all of the comforts of home with all the accessories for a perfect beach vacation. We have a well equipped kitchen, large deck overlookin a resaca(canal-like waterway) and, the ocean and gulf can both be viewed from the second floor deck. We also offer satellite TV (DirecTV), and the house is furnished with attractive beach-themed furniture. For those of you who just have to have the internet, a high-speed Wifi internet connection is provided. We do allow well behaved pets with prior authorization and deposit. Our home is non smoking, but you may step outside to smoke. The beach is about a five minute walk away, over the sand dunes. With the waterway on two sides and Port Aransas in the migratory path for many species of birds, a great opportunity for birding is part of the package - bring your binoculars. At the BLUE HERON BEACH HOUSE all boats and watercraft must be parked fully in the driveway with your automobiles. If needed, you may park boats at the Port Aransas Municipal Marina for five days at no charge ($2/day after that). Contact the Harbor Master.
