This could not have been more perfect. We loved everything about the house, the beach, the yard, the private, the view, the location, the fully appointed kitchen. It was all perfect.

Spent the weekend at this lake house with a few friends and had a blast. The only downside was the lack of a ramp to unload the jetski and boat but the property manager was kind enough to let us use the one on his property. Overall, great stay. The beach area with the bonfire was absolutely amazing. Plenty of room to run around and play and comes stocked with tons of water toys and equipment to use for fun.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

I spent a weekend at this house with 13 other friends. We all had a wonderful weekend. Location is right on the lake with beautiful views. Amazing backyard with sandy beach and fire pit. Living room is very large and comfortable. Very fancy grill outside and equipment inside to make anything you might want. Highly recommend!

Great Weekend at a Gorgeous Home

After spending a fair amount of time researching the lake and possible vacation rentals, we couldn't have been happier with this place. We (7 of us) spent a mid-September weekend at the house and the only regret is not booking another couple nights. The photos don't do it justice...the property has a phenomenal view of the lake, with a huge lawn area for outdoor activities, a sandy beach with a firepit (perfect for an evening by the water), and a shallow entrance into the lake that's good for wading or launching the canoe. The house itself was equally impressive. Clean and obviously well-maintained, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and a large great room that was perfect for hanging out with everyone, reading, or just watching a movie. The caretaker (Tom) gave us a call a couple days before the reservation to give us a quick overview of the house and answer any questions, and he couldn't have been nicer. For our first time at the lake, we couldn't have been more impressed. We're all really looking forward to next year.

GREAT Vacation - 7 adults/5 small kids

We just spent a GREAT week at this property! The house is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you could ever want on vacation -- stocked kitchen, tons of water toys, a HUGE flat beach, outdoor BBQ pit, fire pit, stairs into the lake, sandy shallow water in the lake, boat dock, kayak/canoe/rowboat, etc. On top of that, the property manager and next door neighbor (Tom and Ingrid) made our week unforgettable. We actually arranged to have Tom take our entire group on a morning pontoon cruise around the lake, and then we organized a fishing trip early one morning with all the kids. Tom was wonderful with the kids and we couldn't have asked for a better advocate/guide/friend. I am hesitant to recommend this house ONLY because we want it to be available every time we come back to Lake Anna!

Spent a long weekend here with two other families. Everyone had a great time! House worked really well for families with small children. Lots of green grass to play on and a huge sandy beach! Thanks for a great time.

We take a group family vacation every year (6 adults and 10 children) and this one does rank right up there with the best of them. The house had everything you could think of: plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans, platters for serving, lawn chairs, sand toys and life jackets. It was unbelievable how well taken care of we were. The other posters were right about the Property Manager, Tom, he was the nicest person and truly sincere about making our stay one to remember. He even took several of us on a fishing trip and a tour of the lake. The owner was always quick to return emails and answered all my questions timely. She was kind and courteous. The house was beautiful and clean and believe it or not had plenty of room for all of us. The beach was beautiful, however, the water was a little too warm for our liking but that's what we get for going in the end of July. Although, that would not stop us from coming back as it was perfect for the kids as they could play in the water comfortably without the water being too high for them. The volleyball net and kayak was a huge hit and I can safely say that the kids never once said they were bored. There was just so much to do. I would highly recommend this house as it's obvious that the owners and the property manager truly care for their visitors. Thank you for a vacation to remember.

We recently stayed at this house and could not have been more pleased. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The lake is magnificent and warm. We are already looking forward to coming back next summer. Our children loved playing at the beach all day and we loved sitting by the campfire at night. Perhaps the best part was the neighbor and caretaker Tom Dupree. He was welcoming and helpful and truly made our vacation memorable. Thank you all for a wonderful week.

This beautiful house was perfect for our vacation. View of the lake from the house was spectacular, and it had everything you would need in a house. Firepit, Sandy Beach and Shallow water for the kids were some of the main attractions of the property, apart from the spacious house, and an extremely cooperative and helpful property manager. Highly recommended!

This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful vacation home. We had 9 of us staying here (2 families) and all of the kids/teens/adults had a blast. Beautiful yard, beach, sunsets. Loved the use of the kayak, canoe, water toys, etc. Awesome fire pit on beach as well (complete with firewood!). Hardly used the tvs, but, yes, there is a big beautiful flat screen in family room (dish tv), tv in one guest room, small tv in den. Lots of amenities included. Can't wait to visit here again!

My family spent five days at this beautiful home on Lake Anna last autumn and had a spectacular vacation! The home is amazing! It is spacious and bright, and has a large kitchen, beautiful living room area and enough bedrooms to comfortably have a large family or group of friends. The back deck and screened in porch are fantastic for lounging. The yard is extremely large and is quite private and quiet. We found it to be the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. The backyard dead ends into a gorgeous sandy beach, with walk-in steps into the lake. The beach also has a firepit, which was a huge highlight for us! We really enjoyed making s'mores! The owners of this property have thought of everything! It truly has every amenity that you could ever want! I hope to be able to go back again this year!

My family and I (12 of us!) stayed at this property over Labor Day weekend. We had a wonderful time! The home is lovely and the land/lake is BEAUTIFUL! Both the adults AND the children had a fantastic time. We spent our days fishing, swimming, and taking the kayak out and spent our evenings making smores in the firepit on the beach and playing games on the porch. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental. We loved it and hope to go back next year :-) NOTE: There is a small TV in the den and another TV in one of the upsatirs bedrooms, but there is not a TV in the living area.

The house is beautiful and you feel right at home, if your home had an incredible view of the water and the only thing you had to do that day was relax. I went with a bunch of friends for the weekend, we had the best time in the lake, on the beach and sitting around the bonfire pit. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful sunsets, great swimming off the beach. Loved playing volleyball on the beach with my friends, kayaking and fishing off the dock. I love going in the fall and winter too.
