Located 12 miles off the coast of Rhode Island, Block Island has been called "one of the last great places" by the Nature Conservancy. To get here, you must arrive by boat or plane. The Island is shaped like a pork chop and it is 7 miles long and three miles wide at it’s thickest point. The Rendezvous House is centrally located so nothing is very far from home.
The house features an open living room, dining room, and a well-stocked kitchen area perfect for entertaining guests. The dining table seats 10 and the kitchen sports a breakfast bar. The house sleeps up to 15 people, spread out amongst the 4 bedrooms. With 2 full baths, an outdoor shower, and a large laundry area, no one should have trouble bumping into each other! Outside, there is a wrap-around deck for additional "living space" and 360-degrees of beautiful views.
On Block Island, you can enjoy participating in a wide variety of activities or lay back and enjoy the views. Water fun includes fishing, boating, and swimming in the ocean or 350 ponds located throughout the island. On land, you can bike, hike, scoot around on a moped, bird-watch, or relax by shopping and dining in town. |
