Relax in the serenity of this beautiful Vermont home nestled in a quiet neighborhood just off Mountain Road. The bright great room is anchored by a wood stove and filled with antiques and arts from local craftsmen. Reclaimed barn wood surrounds the ceiling beams and recessed lighting creates a warm glow on the cathedral ceiling at night. From the great room, walk out to an enormous deck amply furnished with teak tables, chairs and benches. A gas grill and dining table under an umbrella make outdoor dining a family event.

The deck off the master bedroom overlooks landscaped gardens and features a 6 person hot tub/spa. The master bedroom and second queen guest room share a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub and stone tiled walk-in shower. Downstairs there is a 3rd queen bedroom with full bathroom and a bunk room with hand-crafted bunk beds and a trundle. The gameroom downstairs has foosball, air hockey, darts and 32' tv.

This house is pet free for allergy sensitive people.

  • We stayed during Christmas week 2008, a party of 9 (5 adults, 4 children), and everything was great! The house is beautiful and extremely clean! Lots of space for the children to play in and for the adults to relax. All the house was equipped with everything you'd need. The host was extremely gracious. The best place we've been in, anywhere!

  • This is the perfect vacation home in so many ways! First, location, location, location. It is located between the resort and town. Perfect for traveling to the slopes or catching a bite to eat in town. It has three bedrooms plus a bunk bed in the basement that are nicely decorated. It was a perfect retreat for the three couples. Then are the amenities. The home has a hot tub, a wood burning stove, deck, satelite television, wi-fi connection, boot warmers, ski racks, washer and dryer, fooze ball table, air hockey table, board games, linens, and toiletries. This house has everything! Finally, the owners are fabulous! Before even arriving in Stowe, they recommended several restaurants, activities, etc. Then, upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely gift basket. It doesn't stop there, the owners checked on us during our stay and even permitted us to enter the house early and check out late to accomodate our schedules. I highly recommend this home!

We enjoyed the hot tub, relaxing in main room, kids playing in the activity room & cooking in the well equipped kitchen nightly. You won't be disappointed. Would gladly stay here again.

  • Our stay at Goodnight Moon was ideal for our family vacation. There were 5 adults and 4 children in our group and the home was perfect! The location is close to the mountain and shopping in the village. Air hockey, foosball and lots of board games kept us busy when we weren't skiing, sledding or checking out the town. Clean, cozy yet spacious, and accommodating, I will definitely want to come back here when we visit again!

  • I returned to Vermont where I once lived, after thirty years away, and I wanted it to be PERFECT! I arranged to meet friends for dinner and wanted to have a place where they felt comfortable to come and go at will. I researched many places, but when I found this place I knew it was right... I knew it was PERFECT. But when I got there I felt I WAS HOME!.....Willy

  • Our stay in Goodnight Moon was wonderful! The cabin was outfitted with the best of everything for the entire family. Fully functional kitchen to air hockey and board games. The hot tub was a favorite for all after a great day of skiing, and the proximity to the mountain was great. We hope to stay again soon!
