This adorable cabin lies directly on the banks of the blue-ribbon, trout-filled Wind River. There is a wonderful deck for vacationers to sit and watch the river go by -- or do a little trout fishing. The cabin is shaded by huge cottonwood trees and has nice views of the painted badlands surrounding Dubois & the Wind River Mountains.
This quaint cabin is located only a couple of miles from the town of Dubois in a very private setting. Grand Teton National Park & Yellowstone National Park are only 55 miles. Jackson Hole and world class downhill skiing, dining & shopping are only 80 miles away.
In the summer, enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATVing & fishing in the nearby Shoshone National Forest (millions of acres & 5 wilderness areas). Hunters await the fall hunting season.
In the winter, enjoy fantastic winter sports in the area. Snowmobiling & the Continental Divide Snowmobile Trail are only 15 miles away -- yet the area surrounding the cabin gets very little snow in the winter. The Dubois area is known as "The Banana Belt of Wyoming" and has the highest winter temperatures in the state. However, if you want to play in the snow, it will be waiting for you just down the road! Then come home at night to the cozy fireplace & listen to the sound of the Wind River as it rushes by! |
