Our large & airy, very quiet retreat by the sea is centrally located across the street from the beach, just off South Forest Beach Drive, an easy stroll of a couple of blocks to the ocean, nearby paths and trails (50 miles!), hip coffee shops, bakeries, groceries, local shops, and restaurants located in and around Coligny Plaza.
Our private townhouse is the most spacious 2-bedroom, 2 & 1/2-bath end villa at Ocean Breeze, located at the front and nearest to the ocean with the easiest, most abundant parking in front of the townhouse. We are close to free, hard-court & lighted tennis. Ours is distinct from Treetops, an adjacent complex that is Phase II, built 20 years after Treetops.
Bike rentals are cheap and ubiquitous and should be fitted to suit individual size & comfort. We've completely refinished the interior with fresh paint, new appliances, new 32", 26", and 22" televisions with DVD/CD players, new beds and linens, as well as all-new furnishings (including a queen sofa sleeper) in classic nautical and beach themes. We have also provided an extensive library of books, 70+ DVDs for adults and children, plus games for quieter pleasures.
This is our only rental villa, so it is especially important to us that the needs of our guests are met and exceeded. We hope you'll love the romantically appointed master bedroom with its roomy king bed, Nautica linens and plentiful storage, including a 5-drawer chest and an armoire, an en suite bath with jacuzzi tub and his & hers sinks. There is also a private deck off the master with a table and chairs to relax in the quiet evening breeze.
The cozy second bedroom has 2 twin beds with Liz Claiborne linens, plenty of storage, and another full en suite bath. Both bedrooms have walk-in closets. A full laundry facility is situated between the bedrooms. Everything but beach towels has been provided for your accommodation.
Your comfort is assured with an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, high-speed internet access on a wireless router, premium cable service, three pools, tennis courts (steps away), and nearby access to Player's Fitness Health Club.

Year Purchased: 2007
My husband and I purchased our beautiful townhouse in 2007. We spent several months having it painted and decorated before beginning our rental business in 2008. Although we previously rented another property in Forest Beach, our experience here has been even more satisfying. The layout is much more conducive to comfort than our flat at North Shore Place. More than anything, we have been blessed with the lovliest guests, which, of course, makes it fun.
Why the Owner Chose Ocean Breeze
Ocean Breeze is so near the beach, the restaurants, and coffee houses. There's a great deal of local history and so many things to do within walking and bicycling distance. We first came to Hilton Head Island in 2002, when a friend was unable to use his vacation rental. Like everyone, we fell in love instantly. It is so relaxed and family friendly without the crowds typical to some other east coast beach communities.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhouse
First off, we're beach people, though many of our guests are also golfers. I like being within a short walk of the water. I can walk for miles looking out to sea and toward the lighthouse at Tybee Island. I love the shrimp boats, the dolphins swimming parallel to the shore, the strange finds on the beach, like the horseshoe crab which never fail to tantalize. There's always something different happening.
