"This home was the perfect backdrop for a fabulous 'girls' weekend'. It is perfectly charming and stocked with every little detail. We have had an amazing vacation!"
"We really enjoyed Savannah and your Savannah Victorian home. The child-friendly provisions were especially appreciated."
"Thanks for making us feel at home. This was a wonderful vacation. The girls REALLY loved the house! We hope to be back again soon."
These are just a few comments from our previous guests that exemplify the the true Southern charm of our Savannah Victorian!
This beautiful historic Victorian four bedroom, 2 & 1/2 bath home is entirely yours when you come to enjoy all that Savannah has to offer. Conveniently located on east Bolton Street, four blocks from Forsyth Park in the Victorian Historic District, this is the perfect home for families, several couples traveling together, or a group of friends. Don't get stuck on sofabeds or two beds to a room like other rentals - here EVERY couple gets their OWN room!!!
The home features a private backyard and covered back porch; perfect for those morning cups of coffee or a wonderful place to wind down and begin your evening with a glass of wine.
With the home ideally located so close to Forsyth park, you are very near the Mansion on Forsyth, a local grocery store, a coffee shop, an organic foods market, and several of the best restaurants in Savannah. This stunning property is just minutes away from carriage rides, ghost tours, shopping and dining.
It is believed that the home was built in 1898 by local contractor JJ Waring for Mr. John S. Banks, an employee with the Plant Railroad Company. The Plant System was a system of railroads and steamboats in the U.S. South, taken over by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad in 1902. The Original line of the system, named after its owner, Henry B. Plant, was the Savannah, Florida and Western Railway, running across southern Georgia.
The home is featured in the Savannah Victorian District Design Guidelines as an example of the Queen Anne style typified by its use of composite classical columns on the wraparound porch, diamond stain glass window to the hallway and decorative shingles to the pediments. It has been restored with many modern upgrades.
There is a large backyard with seating for six, a wonderful place for family or group activities (toss around the provided football or set up the croquet set!) or to simply relax with morning coffee, evening drinks, or curl up with a good book.
The home features soaring 11’ ceilings, large windows, heartpine flooring, beautiful original mouldings, and pocket doors; this home is a true Savannah Victorian.
All linens are fine quality.
The second up-stairs bath has a large oversized tub & shower.
The large, comfortably furnished living room has large bay windows and overlooks a covered wrap-around porch.
Modern Gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, gas cooktop, built-in oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge with ice maker. Fully fitted out with dinnerware, pots and pans, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, etc.
The home is locally operated. We live in Savannah and offer personalized service and meet all our guests upon arrival for check-in. You are our guest during your stay in our beautiful city and we endeavor to make your stay as comfortable as we can.

We had a great time - 5 college roommates celebrating their 40th birthdays together! Savannah was fantastic, and the house was perfect for us. It is a lovely old home with a lot of space and was stocked with everything we needed. The location could not have been more perfect. We were able to walk all over historic Savannah and rarely had to use a car. The best part of the rental was Heather's wonderful map of the area and all her recommendations - restaurants, sites to see, etc. What a great personal link to the city!

My best friend got married in Savannah this past weekend and her name is Savannah.... all of the bridal party stayed at this home and it was perfect we had everything we could need right there and plenty of space. If you have a group or family traveling this is the best buy with a great location. Kroger's is in walking distance amongst a lot of other neat shops and recreational things to do. Also we had a infant and toddler this home was safe and baby ready!

Our son chose Savannah as a great city to celebrate his 30th birthday. We drove from Ft. Walton, our son from Orlando, and other son from Pensacola. Our third son also surprised us by showing up unexpectedly, so we were SO thankful we had rented this wonderful big house! We all stayed here together – rented bikes for the 7 of us – and enjoyed cycling through Savannah together. A wonderful weekend filled with fabulous family time, food, fun, and faith!

Heather -our second stay with you, even better than the first last year. It was great celebrating the holidays here in a homey atmosphere with the entire family. We ate together every day here, laughed and sang and played. Tali will always remember this as her “Christmas” house, a place where she and her grandpa could walk to the park every day. Our forays around Savannah were fun as we just delighted in being family “at home.” The house is large enough that all had their own space – sometimes a rare commodity these days. All in all another wonderful holiday. Thank you again – what a treasure.

We are 6 sisters coming to Savannah to celebrate the youngest sister’s 50th birthday. What a lovely location for this special celebration. As we wandered thru the home we were thrilled to see all of the wonderful detail of the woodwork. The colors for the walls are perfect. What you have done in the bedrooms is beautiful!! Love all the detailed touches!Having all the modern amenities is quite a treat also. And the stocking of the kitchen and baths is of course more than we would ever get in a hotel. Being able to enjoy each other’s company in the same home was wonderful! It goes without saying that Savannah is a beautiful city. Very walkable, very historically enriching. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

Our neice's wedding brought our scattered family together in Savannah. We have heard about Southern Hospitality and every word of it is true - we were greeted warmly here, and by everyone we met. We were especially delighted by how walkable the city is and we appreciated our ability to stroll to and from the house. The Jazz festival was a lovely bonus!! This house quickly became our home away from home. Thank you!!
