Just got back from a week long stay at this wonderful property. No complaints, everything was perfect. The Sunrise itself is an amazing oceanfront property and the elevated pool made for very comfortable lounging/swimming. The fitness center is well equipped with a view of the gulf while working out. The condo was well equipped and the owners have literally thought of everything to make you feel right at home. It's exceptionally clean. The views are AMAZING from the living room AND bedroom. And with an oversized/private balcony that directly faces the gulf of mexico, well it doesn't get much better than this. The Tillman's were very each to deal with. We will definitely stay here again when in PCB:) By the way, Reggae J's and Deadeye Dicks had amazing food!!! And horseback riding on the beach in nearby Cape San Blas was amazing!!!!!!

Everything listed in the description is accurate! The condo was very clean and decorated very nicely. The view from the 20th floor balcony was amazing! The patio furniture they have is also great. My husband took several naps in the lounger. The location of the property is great. Within walking distance to many things including Pier Park.The owners made the whole process of booking very easy and returned the security deposit promptly. We really had no complaints! It was a great vacation and I will definately stay here again in the future!

We have rented a dozen condos in PCB over the years and this one is nicely decorated and well equipped. Everything we could have needed was available. The keyless lock was convenient and the free beach chairs meant one less thing to carry. We had a few questions and dealing with the owners was very pleasant and refreshing. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful facility and condo. The view is great. The room is very spacious for the price. The balcony is very spacious again with high rails. Beautiful sunsets. Saw dolphins several times from the balcony. Everything was comfortable to us (even the beds). There are complaints about the elevator waits on the facility's web site, but we did not find waits to be ridiculous even spring break week. They could use another elevator or two, but it was not a big deal at all. The beach is clean and spacious. The beach service is great. Count that value as you compare other condos. That is worth a hundred bucks if you are there on the beach very often. It is a long walk to pier park. The hotel is definitely a quieter area on the strip though. It was crazy busy with kids during spring break when we were there and I was very happy we picked this facility as they did a good job of letting everybody have fun, but kept this facility much, much more in control than many we saw. We had two small issues we needed help with (one of the kids lost an iphone while we were there and wanted to have a replacement sent) while we were there and John and Irene did a great job of getting back with us promptly and doing what they could to help us. Sleeping is a king size bed and the bunks and the couch in the living room. I would say it more like sleeps five, maybe six if you had a lot of kids. The bunk room is only for kids. The adult's suite is super nice with lots of storage (a closet and dresser), double sink in the very large bathroom. The two bathrooms are great for keeping kids out of your room. The description is very accurate except I can't imagine sleeping seven and the walk to pier park should be identified as being a long walk, not something you do on a whim. Walking distance made it sound closer to me than it was and my teen-aged kids agreed. Overall, this was a great vacation. Lots of things to do in the area. Beautiful, spacious (the biggest we have been in for this kind of price) condo that had everything we would expect it to have and then a few more things (like soap for the washing machine). Class owners. Our experience was great.

I would highly recommend this condo--My husband & I stayed here during Fall Bike Rally (2011) and loved this keyless condo. It is on the 20th floor which is high enough to avoid a lot of the noises and the view is amazing. We enjoyed eating breakfast every morning on the large balcony. We also enjoyed the covered garage parking. This condo has it all just as the pictures show-clean, nice deco, well equiped kitchen, always great having two bathrooms when getting ready to go out, beach chair service is available (free w/condo), & pool bracelets and parking slips were waiting for us in the condo upon our arrival. The wonderful owners make it easy from the start (booking) to prompt deposit refund. We will be back for our next beach vacation.

Owner response:Great feedback. We strive to keep our unit @ Platinum level and in Oct 2011, we purchased a new queen sleeper sofa, recliner & 32" flat screen for the armoire.

My family loved this condo! The colors were bright and cheery, and the furniture was top of the line! The keyless entry was wonderful, especially when you have family members that like to go and do their own thing. No worrying about keeping up with a single key. The location was great; we love going to Pier Park every night and eating ice cream and letting our four-year-old ride the train and other rides. Our favorite part was the underground parking; very convenient for loading and unloading, especially with a young child who has lots of stuff to take to the beach! I was a little concerned about being on the 20th floor, but I was not bothered at all, even with my son coming out there. I highly recommend this condo and the owners, who made the rental process very easy. My family will definitely be back!

My family and I loved are stay @ John & Irene's condo! We visited the second week of May 2011 during the off season. Irene gave us a very good rate! We loved it was not overly crowded in PCB. The condo is decorated so neat. It is very spacious, don't be fooled by the bunkroom it's an actual small bed room. My 7 year old, 10 year old & 14 year old had plenty of room. We loved the convenience of having 2 bathrooms when getting ready. The balcony is huge and the view is to die for! You can see the Gulf from everywhere in the condo but the bunkroom. The beach service provided was a very nice bonus. My kids loved being at the beach all day and then going to the nice pool at the end of the day. I really liked the convenience of the parking garage underneath the condos. John and Irene's condo is keyless! Wow this was the first time I have had keyless entry and it was great! Irene was very helpful with all information. She will respond back to your emails promptly. She even called to let us know on the day of arrival the condo would be ready before check in time if we wanted. I was very surprised that in less than a week from checking out we had already received our security deposit in the mail. Don't hesitate to book this condo you will not be sorry!

Just wrote a review and forgot to add, that the Beach Chairs being included in our rental fee was awesome. We paid $135 for 5 days last year, and it rained all 5 days. Beach Chair money was not refundable. So definately a perk that John and Irene had the chairs for us. Also, the cleaning fee was included. We left the unit very clean, but still many charge extra. Our weekly fee was VERY reasonable for all that was included in our stay.

This was our first time at this condo, yet 4th time at Sunrise Beach Resort overall. The Sunrise is in the PERFECT location on Front Beach Rd. Thomas Drive Area is way too congested. From Sunrise you can walk to Pier Park, and we did 2 times a day. It is 1 mile each way. John and Irene's condo was beautiful, yet we didn't feel out of place. It was stocked w/ lots of white towels which was perfect, since there were 4 girls on this trip. They had everything we needed. Was afraid I wouldn't like being on the 20th floor, but actually liked it better than 6-8 that we have stayed on prior. Beautiful view, far enough away from the pool noise, yet could watch my teenage daughter in the evening from the balcony. Would recommend the condo to anyone needing the perfect location, a 1 bedroom w/ bunk room, 2 BA unit, keyless entry, which was awesome, and the Owner's John and Irene couldn't be nicer. Perfect way to go.

Wonderful, relaxing place to stay

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. The condo looks just like the pictures and the location is great. It was very quite and peaceful. The view is fantastic and you are able to get sun out on the balcony. The condo was well stocked with towels, kitchen appliances and very clean. The private bunk room is a nice size with the second bathroom right across the hall. Large enough for at least 3 people to sleep in, 2 on the bottom and 1 on the top. The parking under the condos is great. You don't have to worry about have a space and the entrance door is right there. No long walks carrying luggage. The beach service is good, they are a little unorganized and sometimes slow at getting the cushions out, but very nice not to have to worry with chairs. There are also 2 beach chairs in the condo. The owners are great about explaining everything and if you need them they are just a call away. They even email you the day after you leave to let you know about your security deposit. The condo is located very close to pier park, where you can find good shopping, food and movies. The condo is easy to find. We will definitely rent again.

We loved Captain John and Irene's Condo! The colors were warm and inviting, and the condo was a cool place to stay. The view from the balcony is spectacular. We saw dolphin, fireworks on the 4th of July, beautiful sunsets, and incredible thunderstorms rolling in off the gulf. The furniture is top notch! Especially loved the wonderful couch and chair in the living room. Very comfortable. The chair was much fought over. The kitchen is well stocked for a family such as ours who cooks in while on vacation. Having a set of beach chairs and an umbrella was a big plus. We've not had that before. Also the keyless entry is absolutely the way to go. After having it, renting another condo without keyless entry would be a deal breaker. If you're debating between Sunrise Beach and another condo, pick this place. The pools are great, the location is great, and having parking in your building instead of across the street is awesome. As for Captain John and Irene's condo, you're gonna love it!
