  Our extended family just stayed here and we were very impressed. There was plenty of room for our group. It was nice having the pool just out the back door and the beach a short walk away. We would highly recommend this house to anyone. If our group does not get bigger on the next trip we will defiantly stay here again.

  We recently were at the Eagle's Nest for 6 great days of beach fun. We were impressed by the wonderful furnishings in the house, including some unique beach wall hangings and artwork. The kitchen was fantastic - having everything needed for the stay. The kitchenware was a step above any we have had in the past 8 summer vacations in Port Aransas. And the third story eagle's nest offered a great view of the area. The neighborhood homes are various colors, very unusual and entertaining. Right next door is the swimming pool which the grandchildren and other family members enjoyed. The boardwalk to the beach is only a short walk away. The sleeping accomodations were excellent with four bedrooms easily sleeping our group of 13 ( 6 adults and 7 children). The wi-fi was a plus as was the big flat screen TV, The neighborhood was quiet and there was little traffic on the streets. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel pampered. Dealing with the owner and the rental agency was professional and friendly. We hope to return to the Eagle's Nest next year.

  We stayed at the Eagle's Nest for February,2010. This is a wonderful, almost new home. The home has everything you would need for a short or long stay. If you have a large group, the 4 bathrooms and the extra outdoor "beach rinse-off shower" means nobody ever has to wait. The decks have lots of outdooor furnature including very comfortable rocking chairs. There are even folding chairs in the garage that you can take to the beach for the day. Even has a few beach and pool water toys available. The pool next to the home is wonderfully maintained and is complete with reclining loungers. Palm trees around the pool and throughout the neighborhood give a very tropical feel. For us, the location was perfect. The home is about 4 miles south of downtown Port A. This means you still have quick access to Port A and Corpus Christy is only 15 minutes away for shopping. This location also has less crowding on the beach. The beach there is excellent and only about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the home. You can't go wrong renting the home. We hope to be back soon.

  We have stayed at a few different condos and houses in Port Aransas over the years and our stay at the Eagles Nest was by far the most comfortable and relaxing. The home is well maintained and it accommodates a large or extended family. There is room for everyone and the upstairs deck offers a great place to enjoy gulf breezes. We will choose the Eagles Nest in the future.
