Enjoy a beautifully decorated fairway home in a very private and peaceful setting in Baja Country Club, with 24/7 gated and guarded security. A large 750 square foot patio fronts the golf course. The home has a great view of the golf course, a lake, and the surrounding mountains. The patio has a outdoor dining table with six chairs, shade umbrella, fireplace, and gas barbeque. Two master bedrooms, one on the fairway and one on the mountainside. The fairway has one king bed and the mountainside has two queens. Each master bedroom has its own bath, with double sinks, and large walk in closet.
The golf course has over three hundred acres with twelve acres of lakes. It is an ecological preserve with many species of birds. The gated community is cooled by a gentle sea breeze from the Estero Beach bay. The clubhouse has a pro shop, bar, and restaurant facilities. A community pool, spa, exercise room, and picnic area is located a short walk from house. The Country Club is located only 10 miles South of the embarcadero center, a busy port for cruise ships, fishing, and numerous cultural and educational activities. Only 10 minutes away from Estero Beach with its beautiful bay and water sports, and about 25 minutes from the famous La Bufadora (Blow Hole).
Only a 10 minute drive to a brand new Costco, Home Depot, Wal-Mart Super Center, McDonalds, Burger King, Applebees bar and grill, and shopping mall.

The best word to describe my experience renting this property is FANTASTIC. I initially rented for a few months but ended up staying over a year. My extended stay is probably why there are not many reviews here on VRBO. The owner is very accommodating and responds quickly to any requests. Truly a designer furnished home and if anything needs tweaking the owner responds quickly and spares no expense on keeping up this property. I know he just completed some exterior upgrades that will only enhance the experience. This is a home that looks and feels new, fully stocked, great furnishings, LCD TV’s with a great DirecTV package including many premium channels. The neighborhood is very friendly and social with the informal Social Directors, Ed & Paula, living next door. They have over 20 years of living in Baja experience and can answer any questions you might have regarding the area. If you want a great experience you will not regret renting this property!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

This is the 3rd property we've stayed at from these same owners. Each one has been uniquely different from the other, and each one absolutely lovely. The Baja Countty Club property is nestled just far enough away from town to feel like a true escape, but also conveniently located just a few minute drive from local shopping and restaurants. The staff and other owners / visitors were all extremely friendly and helpful. The home is beautifully decorated, and has every amenity you could dream of. The location is right on the golf green, and we enjoyed nightly walks around the grounds. It's a truly peaceful and tranquil place to visit, and we look forward to returning soon with another couple. We especially appreciated Jerry and Maureen making such efforts to give us all the "insider tips" for getting around and seeing the sites. Thank you!

We stayed one month(Feb. 2008)at 284 Baja Country Club. The home,neighbors, golf course and staff were great.. we really enjoyed ourselves and have rebooked for next year. The close proximity to shopping (Wal-Mart, Costco,banking,was a big plus. The home is just as the pictures show and is very well equipped. We are looking forward to returning.
