The Property:
Beautiful, totally renovated, pool home in charming and fun Delray Beach (20 mi to West Palm and Ft. lauderdale). The house is a simple but elegant home with with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms . Everything has been remodeled and/or updated. It has a 400 sq ft screen porch in back as well as a pool and tiki bar in part of the back yard. The direct back yard is totally tropically landscaped (Key West style). At night the landscape lighting and tiki torches turns it into a tropical paradise - especially entering through the palm tree lined gate entrance. It’s a very charming and fun house with all wood and marble floors with open floor plan. There is a marble fire pit table and BBQ gas grill as well. There are many different beaches and golf courses a close distance (10-15 minutes away).

The Neighborhood
The neighborhood is in a gated community with a private golf course which is beautiful. It’s a lushly and maturely landscaped neighborhood with quiet winding roads. There’s virtually no traffic and perfect for walking or biking in the day or night. The cul-de-sac the house is on is extremely quiet. It’s less than ten minutes to the beach and the charming town of Delray Beach with outdoor cafes, shops, and restaurants. West Palm Beach and Ft Lauderdale are less than a 1/2 hour drive, Miami/South Beach is approx. 1 hr drive and it's less than 2 hours to the Florida Keys (Key Largo/Islamorada).

    • We had the pleasure of staying in this elegant home for 7 weeks in 2007. The home is as attractive as described, and was immaculate when we arrived. The gated community is very secure, with helpful security personell. The town of Delray Beach is a gem, with charming restaurants and a beautiful beach, which has abundant parking (as long as you are well supplied with quarters). There are malls, shopping and every service imaginable close to this location. The best feature may be a gourmet grocrery store (The Brothers) which has superb produce, cheese, home cooked dishes and wine at very reasonable prices. We would recommend this home to any renter or swapper who would like to experience Florida.
