Walk 2-1/2 blocks to the waterfront, marina and yacht club or enjoy a short walk downtown to shopping, restaurants, banking etc. Day trips could include the famous Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in Cambridge, the well-known Fisherman Village of St. Michaels, beaches of Ocean City, Oxford.. and Washington DC is but a 1-1/2 hour drive.
A wonderful charming area where one can relax and enjoy the charm of the Eastern Shore. Good fishing, boating, crabbing and other activities are readily available. A wonderful seafood dinner and cruise aboard the beautiful Dorothy Megan Paddle boat is an option. The Dorchester Designer Showcase takes place on Sunday, September 23 this year...an annual favorite of both vendors and visitors who come from far and wide to enjoy arts and crafts, good food, entertainment. and boat cruises...to name a few.
