Original cottage style home in Grayton Beach. "Cole Bin" has been in our family since 1936, and has been our home away from home ever since. It is a very comfortable, homey cottage with the original pine flooring and great lighting with many windows. This home can be rented as a 2 bedroom/2 bath home, or a 3 bedroom/2 bath home. The beach access is only 100 yards away, with another 50 yards to the Gulf of Mexico. "Cole Bin" is a short stroll to the famous Red Bar, and other great restaurants and shops.
The full kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to feed your 10 guests plus friends joining you on vacation. Provided are 2 refrigerators, an ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, stovetop oven, toaster, and coffee maker. Kitchen also includes lots of dish ware, flatware, cups, mugs, pots & pans, and pyrex dishes, as well as the important spices.
The dining room table comfortably seats 10 guests, and there are two living rooms with plenty of seating with TV/DVD's in each for the family who wants to enjoy two different shows at the same time. TV's are also located in each bedroom.
The bedrooms are bright and decorated for comfort in a beach style. The house is very spacious and spread out providing privacy wiThe master bedroom features a large king size bed with plenty of drawer space to unpack, a hanging closet, and an attached bathroom with tub/shower combination. The front bedroom features a queen size bed and a twin size bed, with plenty of drawer space, and a bathroom close by with a stand-up shower.. Also attached to this room is a good size closet and a walk through vanity with lots of mirror space and a seated vanity. The side bedroom has two full size beds, and a twin bed, lots of drawer space and an attached closet. This bedroom shares the bathroom with the front bedroom by walking through the large vanity area.
The pool table is a wonderful amenity for all guests, as it provides some fun for all ages. The deck in the back yard provides the opportunity to visit and cook-out on the provided charcoal grill in privacy while enjoying the wonderful weather and the gulf breeze.
"Cole Bin" is also dog friendly with a fenced in yard so even your four-legged friends can come on vacation! Fence wraps around entire lot, provided a lot of room for the dogs to roam from the front to the backyard.

- "Cole Bin" has a wonderful enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water in the back of the house perfect for a shower after coming in from the beach. Rental fee includes beach towels & beach chairs.

- Pet Friendly : Dogs only and must be approved by owner. Fenced yard. No cats, no exceptions-sorry! There is a nonrefundable pet fee of $125. Dogs are required to have permits to be on the beach and only residents are able to obtain them. Plenty of other places for doggie-down by the lake, around Grayton and the wonderful fenced yard.

The Cole Bin has been in my family since my mother was a little girl. It's in a great spot in Grayton, close to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Owner's Map of Grayton Beach
The Cole Bin was my grandmother's cottage at the "coast." My brother and I grew up running around Grayton Beach every summer of our life. Now I am lucky enough to live here and love it! My children also were lucky enough to grow up in Grayton Beach. They spent lots of time exploring the dunes and trails, tubing on Western lake, surfing in the gulf and looking for shooting stars.

Our family returned to Grayton Beach for a week of fun in the sun. We love the cottage style and decor and the pool table was a blast. Many hours on the beach left us tan and relaxed! The 3 days of rain were a challenge but we changed up our plans and had a blast! Thanks for a great stay at The Cole Bin!

Cole Bin has ben the perfect vacation getaway. We celebrated my mom's 60th birthday and could not have asked for a better location! We loved looking at all of your photography. Lots of history & fun stories, I'm sure. Our family was able to make special memories of our own. With such an easy access to the beach, Red Bar, and fun shops we got the perfect Grayton Beach experience. Thank you!

Cole Bin was even better than the photos depicted. We had a family reunion, all nine of us and the lay out of the house was such that we could have privacy as well as family time. The back bed room was wonderful in that it could be closed off from the rest of the house and let us retire earlier without noise from the front roomers playng pool. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, even a colander and cutting boards. We could not have asked for more pleasant accomodations or nicer landlords to deal with. Beach access is a breeze.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The "Cole Bin" is truly one of the Old Grayton cottages. It is just a short stroll to the Red Bar and very close to the beach. The fenced yard was great for "Gus" our dog. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved seeing all the old photos of fun times at Grayton Beach.
