Take your pick between two beautiful, clean, comfortable cabins, or rent them both.The bigger cabin sleeps four people - two in the bedroom and two on the futon in the living room. The smaller cabin sleeps two. Renting both cabins is perfect if you are traveling with friends or family and still like to have your privacy.

Both cabins have fully equipped kitchens, cable TV, DVD and a selection of movies to watch. There is a dishwasher in the bigger cabin and a VCR in the smaller one, linens and towels are provided. There is a lot of outdoor space on the property. Each cabin has a garden and outdoor patio in front furnished with chairs and tables. The big cabin has an additional patio in the backyard.

Enjoy Tahoe like the one of the locals in this quiet neighborhood with all the mountain charm and seclusion that Tahoe has to offer, yet still be close to all amenities. Just minutes away from some of Tahoe's best beaches as well as hiking or biking distance to Fallen Leaf Lake. Close to Mount Tallac trail head, one of the best hikes in Tahoe with spectacular views. Also, right around the corner to Emerald Bay, Eagle Falls, or Cascade Falls. All are entrances to Desolation Wilderness, one of nature's most unique areas. In the other direction we are just minutes away from restaurants, shopping, bike trails, the gondola up Heavenly, and, of course, the casinos.

  • We had a lovely time on our honeymoon here! The cottage is stylish but cozy, with a beautiful painted mural and a well-outfitted kitchen. There is great privacy from neighbors but also easy access to many of the South and West Shore's amenities, as well as Fallen Leaf Lake and the Desolation Wilderness. We were truly surprised and grateful for such a nice "home" to return to each day. We'd definitely recommend this place to friends and hope to stay there again one day!

  • This cabin was simply one of the finest places we have ever stayed in Lake Tahoe It is off the beaten path, yet accessible to everything. We were in Tahoe during the big fires and the owner was truly interested in our welfare. A great place for a couple to get away from it all yet still be close to all of the fun Tahoe has to offer.
