We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Kapalua. The views and the great decor along with an exceptionally comfy, lovely bed in this condo made our trip so restful. Jill and Dave made sure our every need was taken care of. We are so grateful for everything! This is an exceptionally beautiful place!

Just returned from a week in paradise. My wife and I were looking for a quiet, private, and romantic getaway. Hula Moon was just what we ordered. Clean, comfy, well maintained, and homey are a few other superlatives that come to mind. And did I mention the place just oozes island. Well done Jill! Area is beautiful, lush, and very private. The times we used the pool we usually were alone, and the beaches are easily accessible. Honolua Store is a gem, don't forget to pick up a few beef sandwiches for late night snacks in the unit. Very private lanai perfect for watching sunsets. Been going to Maui every year since '92 and this is one of the best trips we've had. Jill's communications up to the trip were cheery and professional. My few last minute questions were answered promptly. Thanks again Jill. Plan to return again ASAP. :-)

From the start of our trip....Jill demonstrated how good of customer service she could provide. On top of this the Hula Moon was an exceptional place to stay. We are the type who wanted to be "on the beach" and had never been to Maui. Although the property is not "on the beach", it is next to three different beaches within 2 minutes. The views were breathtaking and more than made up for "non beach" views of other properties. The pictures truly do not do this place justice. It appears as if Jill has outfitted this place with all the amenities she would want for her own family. High speed internet, great fridge, cable tv x 2, CD/DVD players, washer/dryer in unit, Excellent bedding with memory foam, all the beach supplies you could ask for, great lanai with seating to enjoy morning coffee, covered assigned parking spot right in front the unit, can't hear the neighbors from any direction (neighbors below unit and to one side), great bathroom fixtures, and wonderful decor. There was a pool/bbq area x 2 right very close to the unit that we did not use (we always went to the beach), and during the entire 7 days we say someone using one of the pools only once so it would have been private, they looked nice (again we preferred the beach). I would gladly recommend this place without reservation to all those "category" of people listed below. I would not recommend this for the disabled as it is up a short flight of stairs. Nearby attractions to recommend: Sensai sushi (best sushi my wife and I have ever had), Kapalua beach with walking trail, shopping center with grocery store/snorkel rentals/etc. in Napili market just 1/4 mile away. With car easy access to Kaanapali resort area including black rock beach.

A Kapalua Treasure

I have stayed in various condos throughout the Napili/Kapalua areas, but I would return to Hula Moon in a heartbeat! We were SO comfortable here, and the condo is decorated so beautifully, that we felt right at home. It truly made our trip. The grounds of the resort are gorgeous, and it is very peaceful and quiet nestled within the trees on the hillside. The location is ideal, as it is very close to some of the best beaches and snorkeling spots, coastal walking trails, great restaurants, shopping and more. The condo contains everything you need (including beach chairs, snorkels, fins, coolers, etc), and is located near two pools complete with barbeques. While we did explore Maui quite a bit, we also just enjoyed relaxing at the condo, and were in no hurry to head out each day. The view is also captivating, so plan to spend a lot of time on the patio! Jill was wonderful to work with and made the booking effortless. Bottom line….you need to rent this unit!

Beautiful and quiet condos right by best beaches.

My wife and I had the most wonderful time at the Hula Moon. It overlooks the 10th hole of the golf course with a beautiful ocean view. You're about a 3 minute car ride from two of the best beaches I have ever visited. The condo comes stocked with plenty of toys including snorkel gear, boogie boards, and beach gear for lounging. The condo itself is clean and luxurious with stone counter tops, high thread count sheets and all the privacy you could ask for. The kitchen is stocked with any cooking equipment you could need to cook up any meal. We do recommend checking out the Honolua Store that you pass on the way into Kapalua as the prices are very reasonable, many things the same or lower priced than the supermarkets, and the Deli has the best food at mainland prices. The condo itself it about 12 minutes north of Lahaina and after checking out the whole area we couldn't have picked a better location to stay. It was close to everything we wanted to see. Our only regret was having to leave a day earlier than planned due to our stand by plane tickets.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Hula Moon. The photos and descriptions do not do it justice. It is simply exquisitely decorated and well-cared for. We especially enjoyed the views and being able to watch whales from our lanai. We have recommended this condo to our friends who plan to visit Maui and hope to stay here again next year! Highly recommended!

Wow, we just got back from our stay at Hula Moon and don't think we could have asked for a better place in a fantastic location. Hula Moon is set on a beautiful golf course overlooking the water. The decorating on the inside is designed to compliment and capture the beauty of Kapalua, providing a tranquil environment to relax and enjoy. Jill's personal touch and attention to detail is inviting. The photos on the web do not do Hula Moon justice. My only regrets is that we didn't stay longer, spent more time at Hula Moon, and didn't have enough time to sign the guest book. Jill, don't forget about us.

Wow, this place is amazing, I was lucky enough to be here right after the remodel! this place is the most wonderful spot on earth! The owner put so much into this condo and the comfort of others. We are picky and let me say "you will not be sorry if you rent Hula Moon!"
