Perfect Paradise

My family and I recently stayed in this charming, spacious, perfect cottage! The pictures posted on the web site are an accurate representation of the property but they don't capture the charm, tranquility, or the COMFORT of the cottage! For someone who usually has no problem finding something to say I can't describe the cottage the way I wish so that the simple perfection is depicted. One of the things that makes this spot so perfect for any event, whether it be a girl's get away, couples retreat, family reunion or just a secret hideaway this is a perfect place to stay. I keep using the word 'perfect' but that is exactly what it was...far enough away from town to be quiet but close enough to a dozen places that you were right in the middle of the action. What tops it off more than anything is the customer service. Holly and Rob are the best. I needed a birthday cake, flowers and balloons in the cottage before our arrival and Holly did not fail to disappoint. With almost no information from me she was able to provide the most beautiful vase of flowers with matching balloons and the most scrumptious cake on the earth! We left three days ago and I have already told EVERYONE from here to Texas about Catwalk Cottage. You better reserve your vacation before it gets booked because I plan to keep telling everyone about this jewel of a find!

We had a very nice visit! The inside of the cottage was very nice, clean and had everything we needed. Even though the cottage is small, all the space was well utilized! The outside of the cottage could have used a little cleaning. I understand it is still winter, however, so I guess I can forgive the cobwebs and dirty grill. Wish the weather had been warmer during our visit so we could have enjoyed the deck. Would love to come back in the spring or fall just to sit there and read and enjoy the fresh mountain air!

Retirement Celebration

Catwalk Cottage was the perfect location for five friends celebrating retirement from teaching! Comfortable, cozy and beautifully decorated, it was perfect for our weekend getaway. Close to lots of activities in the area, one still had the feeling of seclusion and privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation!

WOW! That is exactly what my wife said when we walked in, and, was almost in tears when we had to leave. Holly was outstanding. This home is a 10 on a scale of 10! The house is so beautiful and had everything one would need. We've rented homes in Cape Cod, MA, Charlesaton, SC and this one. This has to be one of the nicest!!!! Even on our flight home my wife was talking about when we can go back to Asheville and there is only one place to stay........Catwalk Cottage. Thanks for making our vacation so special with such a beautiful home and affordable rates. We'll be back!!!!!

Staying here for all of our Christmas break was AWESOME! The 8" of snow on Christmas made our stay magical. Hiking to the Gazebo at night for cocktail was so awesome. The heater kept us toasty while taking in the snowfall & stars. Loved the live Christmas tree, fire pit, deck and woods. Holly, thank you for such a beautiful homey cabin. Wish it was ours! We will cherish the memories of Christmas 2010 at Catwalk Cottage.

From guestbook: Our escape from the SW Florida heat to the NC Mts has been all we could hope for. The Catwalk Cottage is charming and homey with lovely decor. The woods edge deck was perfect for our evening wine sipping. Your proximity to Asheville, Biltmore, Hendersonville and Chimney Rock/Lake Lure was so convenient. We enjoyed returning to the winding country roads and rural setting after each busy outing. Your attention to detail is much appreciated and made our anniversary holiday so enjoyable.

My girlfriends and I stayed at this cottage a few weeks ago and we had a fantastic time. The cottage was warm and cozy and spotless. We all commented on just how sharp and beautiful the decor is, not to mention the kindness of our daily visitor, Rose! :) This is a wonderful property!

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week long stay at Cat Walk. The bucolic setting was perfect for peace and relaxation yet it was a short drive to Asheville for city fun and a short drive to Pisgah Nat'l Forest for outdoor fun. The house was so nice and comfortable...it felt just like home.

Loved it! Our family recently spent three wonderful days at 'Cat-Walk' If you want a great combination of quiet mountain seclusion with easy access to the best of Asheville, this is it. Enjoying our morning coffee on the outdoor deck was a wonderful way to start the day. And, with Football season upon us, the satellite TV service was a nice surprise.
