'Mountain View Estate' The ideal family retreat located just over the Virginia border in the south east corner of West Virginia.

Walnut Springs Mountain Reserve is a new mountain development catering to the outdoor and nature loving enthusiast. On site or in close proximity you will find unlimited outdoor activities including skiing, world class golf, hiking, fishing, hunting, cave exploration, swimming, boating, white water rafting, antiquing and much more.

Walnut Springs has limitless hiking trails and nature abounds around every bend. A few turns on the Reserve's private roads and you will find two stocked clear bottom lakes with beachfront and Day Lodge. Spend the day at the Lake, the lodge is complete with kitchen, bbq, fireplace and changing/bath rooms. Private to development residents and their guests, prior owner permission required. At the base of the mountain development is the quaint town of Union. There you will find all the necessities for your getaway, anitque shops, food shopping, restaurants, etc.

The Log Home sets on 8.39 acres of private bliss. There is expansive wrap decking to relax and take in the 60 mile views of the Allegheny mountain range and 2 National Forests. The views from the estate are unparalleled.

The home is conveniently located just minutes south of the historic town of Lewisburg, named Discovery Channel's "1000 places to see...". Lewisburg's charm will entrance you; it's a historic, artistic, and cultural center for the Greenbrier Valley. Here you can find Carnegie hall, many arts and craft shops, restaurants, a live performance theater and more. Other local attractions include Moncove Lake State Park, Fountain Springs Golf Course, Elks Golf Club, Shop and/or Golf at the Greenbrier Resort, Tour the Greenbrier Bunker, Organ Cave, Lost World Cave, Hike Peters Mountain to the Hanging Rock Observatory, Hike or Bike The Greenbrier River Trail, 8500 acre Bluestone Lake, White Water Rafting at the Bluestone Dam and the New River Gorge, Pipestem State Park and much more.

This estate was completed in 2006 with all the modern conveniences one would expect. This home can comfortably accommodate 16 people with plenty of space to roam. Outside is a BBQ, Fire pit, Horse Shoes and more. Inside, the kids will love the game room in the loft, complete with Game Table, video game console, stereo and more.
