Breckenridge recently launched access to 400 new acres of famed expert and advanced terrain on the new Imperial Express Superchair, the highest chairlift in North America! Breckenridge averages around 300 inches of snow each year. Breckenridge also offers a wide variety of nearby trails for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, with great views of the Ten-Mile Range of the Colorado Rockies.

Year Purchased: 1997
About the owner: We are retired and live in Boulder, CO and enjoy Breckenridge often. Although we no longer downhill ski, we love the town and the great trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. In the warmer months, it's a great place for bicycling and hiking. We travel regularly to Europe to enjoy hiking in the Alps and Dolomites. We are avid hikers and cyclists when home.
Why the Owner Chose Grand Timber Lodge:
GTL is a great location - on the mountain, away from the crowds, but walking distance to town. Breckenridge itself provides access for skiing, cross-country, snowshoeing, hiking, bicycling - you name it. A terrific place any time of year, a friendly true historic western town, not just a 'ski village'.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Recent addition of an on-site restaurant and lounge is terrific. Grand Timber also offers free shuttle service to town and local restaurants, and the town itself offers free buses to anyplace you'd need to go. You can also catch the free Summit Stage if you want to ski at Copper Mountain or Keystone for a day or two.
