2 FREEDOM PASSES INCLUDED. Your rental will include 2 adult Freedom Passes for use throughout your stay. Freedom Passes are transferrable adult lift tickets. A value in excess of $100 per day, plus time saved skipping the line to buy lift tickets. The passes can be shared with any adults in your group. Very convenient and economical for people who do not want to ski all day or are taking turns with child care.

Come relax and play at our beautiful mountain condo only steps away from the Brian Head Ski Resort. The two newest lifts, opened a few seasons ago, are very easily accessible from our townhouse. It is a short walk to the new lifts and an easy slide back home.

The newest lifts (1 & 8) allow you to access either the main mountain or the Navajo ski area from adjacent starting points at the end of our road. Lift 1 takes you over to Navajo Mountain. You can then ski back over the new interconnect bridge. Lift 8 takes you midway up the main mountain where you can access many runs and ski right down to Giant Steps lodge and lifts 2 & 3. Or if you prefer, take the new lift 8 onto the mountain to access the mid-mountain lifts (5 & 7) and the slopes they serve without ever going down to the base of the mountain.

This condo sits on a small street at the base of the main mountain. The town park, which has a small playground, is just outside the front door and across the road. (This is also where the town bonfires and fireworks take place.) The name of our bulidng is Parkside Townhomes. It's a smaller bulding containing only 4 two-story, A-frame townhomes. We are next to some larger condo complexes like BrianWood and Evergreen. Our unit is next door to the town fire department.

The townhome is spacious, approximately 1800 sq. ft. not including garage. We do not have multiple listings, this is our one and only personal vacation home. On the lower level there is a living room with gas fireplace. There are leather sofas and a 42" flat screen TV. The kitchen is very large and well equipped, featuring quartz countertops and stainless appliances including a gas range. An eat-in bar links the kitchen to the dining room. An oversize square dining table seats at least 8. A 20" flat screen TV is mounted in the dining room (also with satellite access). A small bathroom/powder room and adjacent stacked washer/dryer completes the bottom level.

The top floor has a master bedroom with Wrought Iron Cal King bed. The master bath includes a corner jetted tub. A second bedroom contains a queen bed and a third bedroom (or "bunkroom") contains 2 sets of bunk beds (a double/single and a single/single). The large open loft area has an additional double bed. A full bath upstairs is shared by these sleeping areas.

The resort currently has 8 lifts on two mountains which are now linked by a skiable interconnect bridge. There is a large separate ski area for beginners on Navajo and a fantastic children's ski school program. Child care for younger children is also excellent at the resort. There is a giant snow tubing hill at the resort which is not to be missed. Snowmobile, ski/snowboard rentals are available at several locations very close to the condo.

In the summer and fall, Brian Head is known for mountain biking. Mountain Biking Trails criss-cross the area and several biking events are held throughout the warmer seasons. The ski lifts stay in service carrying riders and their bikes up the mountain to access the downhill biking trails. There are biking tours with shuttles available from several operators in the area. Summer and fall is also the time to take advantage of the beautiful National Parks and Monuments in the area. Breathtaking views and fantastic hiking opportunities can be found at Cedar Breaks National Monument (15 min. drive), Zion National Park (1 1/2 hour drive), and Bryce Canyon National Park (1 1/2 hour drive).

Why the Owner Chose Brian Head

We had searched for several years for the perfect mountain property. Close to great skiing, family friendly, not overly developed or crowded, and beautiful year round. We had always loved Southern Utah for it's natural beauty and outstanding opportunities for outdoor recreation.

The Unique Benefits at this Townhome

Brian Head boasts some of the most impressive snow for skiing and snowboarding anywhere in the country but without the crowds or usual resort prices. It has our favorite children's ski programs of any resort we have visited. Brian Head is beautiful in the summer for hiking, mountain biking, or just enjoying the scenery. I love the location of our townhouse; the proximity to the lifts and to Giant Steps. The town pavillion and park is just across from our townhouse where there are frequently bonfires, bands, fireworks, or other small town celebrations. We love spending time in Brian Head and hope that you will enjoy it too.

Owner's Map of Brian Head

My husband and I have been married for 10 years. We live in the Palm Springs area of California and love to travel for family vacations. Brian Head and the surrounding areas in Utah are some of our favorite spots for outdoor adventure. We make it out several times a year.

This townhouse was perfect for our large group. We had 9 adults (4 couples, one single) and one infant. There was more than enough room for all of us. Lots of seating space, especially the dining table. The house was clean and very well-maintained. There were lots of great games - we had a blast playing Cranium Turbo. The only issues I have are that we ran out of hot water quickly and the loft bed. After skiing/snowboarding all day all you want is a nice hot shower but only 3 or 4 people were able to shower before running out. (And they took pretty quick showers.) Also, I didn't realize from the picture of the bed in the loft that it is basically just a bed in the hallway, right outside the master bedroom. This ended up being fine, not an issue. But I thought it was a little weird at first. Cynthia was great about responding to my emails and the transactions were all smooth. I would definitely rent again and I would definitely recommend it to friends. Thank you!

Owner response: Thank you for your nice comment. I'm so glad you guys enjoyed the townhouse. It would be nice to have a larger hot water heater since large groups sometimes stay there, but it is just a standard size water heater. It's true that after a few showers guests will need to wait about 20 or 30 minutes for the hot water tank to refill. Much like at most people's homes. The loft bed is definitely not a bedroom. Just a loft, a balcony overlooking the living room, with a double bed on it. It doesn't provide much privacy, but it does offer a place for an extra person or two to sleep in a bed. (Put your teenager there :)

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our time at your condo. The weather and skiing were great, but it made it that much more enjoyable to have a home atmosphere to come back to at night. We truly appreciate that you let us call your home ours during our stay. I also personally want to thank you for how easy you are to work with. Your prompt replies and kind messages made completing this transaction a pleasure.

Modern, spacious, well appointed condo. Great location. The individual garage is a huge plus. By far the nicest condo we've stayed in at Brian Head.
