This property is just what you are looking for in a temporary Paris home. The space is comfortable, the area charming and quiet, and the location central. My husband and I spent 8 days here and didn't want to leave. The local apartment manager is prompt, fluent in English, and available for any questions. Overall our trip was enhanced by having this little nook all our own for a few days - would happily stay here again.

Our stay eleven days at end of May 2011 was excellent. Apartment was clean, convenient, charming. We did not have a car and were able to take Metro or Batobus or walk everywhere. We had not been back to Paris for many years so having Franck available for questions or assistance if necessary was valuable. The notes furnished regarding the apartment and location of shops and cafes conveniently located gave us a quick orientation. We would stay again and recommend to our friends.

We had another wonderful week at this clean, comfortable, and charming apartment. We stayed here two years ago and it was like coming home. Pary is so accommodating and Franck was so helpful. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we come to Paris--which we hope will be again soon. Thank you Pary! We tried a few different area restaurants this time and they were all very good: La Maison du Jardin, Les Papilles, and La Boussole. Some year we may decide to take the RER from/to the airport but it was a welcome treat to have Franck arrange the taxis for us. The free WIFI is a very nice touch and we were glad that we brought our laptop with us. The location is perfect--quiet area yet easy to walk many places or take the bus or metro. Merci encore, Pary et Franck ~
Owner response:Thank you for your kind comments! It is always a pleasure to welcome you to our place. We also appreciate the restaurant recommendation. We are adding them to the list. Merci et à bientot!

We really enjoyed Paris' neighborhoods, shops, food and wine, and people while "living" at this convenient, spacious apartment. Pary made this first experience with VRBO a very positive one before we left home, and Franck was a wonderful resource, and very helpful and respectful while there. The St. Germain area was fabulous!

In this cozy, quiet, apartment with widows overlooking both a private courtyard and the Rue Madame, one could forget they are so nearby all the busy sights and sounds of the city of Paris. With the expansive Luxembourg Gardens only a block away, and so many destinations within easy walking, this was the perfect location to be "home away from home" for our visit. The metro nearby and many conveniences included wonderful cafes, patisseries, boulangeries, grocers, shops, and cinema. Great communications from the start. The owner, Pary, promptly and with great hospitality provided all the information needed for our booking. Our contact in Paris, Franck, went above and beyond - even with unavoidable airline/weather delays - to accommodate our arrival to greet us and see that we were situated in the apartment. The space was clean, very comfortable, with all amenities. Modern equipped kitchen and bath with a generous full-sized shower and lovely furnishings. Skylights and high ceilings with exposed beams provided light and spacious feeling. Thanks to Pary and to Franck for making our stay in Paris so welcoming and easy! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Owner response:We try our best and we are very lucky to work with Franck, our onsite manager.

We have stayed in four different apartments in Paris, and this little jewel was the best! Situated steps from the Luxembourg Gardens, we had the best of both worlds - city life and nature. Just as the description stated, it was clean, renovated with modern amenities (including AC), yet had old world charm of large shuttered windows and and a fireplace. The cross ventilation was key for comfort, and a firm bed made for restful nights. The dishwasher was great and washer/dryer the best! Very comfortable furnishings (a writer's haven - see posts/photos: "Where's Leona?") Pary, the owner, was very helpful and always available (state-side) to answer questions and provide information. When can I go back?!

We stayed in the apartment for a week in early May and we were very pleased with the location and the facilities of the apartment, as well as the nearby area. Its location for us (couple in our 60s and our grown up daughter) was ideal and almost all attractions that we wanted to see where within walking distance and transport was close by. Restaurants again were plenty in the nearby area, as well as great shopping in the Saint Germaine district. The person that welcomed us was very helpful and the whole transaction with the owner was very efficient and quick. Recommended for anyone that wants a central but quite location in Paris

When April 24-May 1, 2010, 1 week Location In Paris, 6th arrondissement, Rue Madame apartment, an excellent location for walking in Paris. Five minutes from the bustle of Saint-Germain, the Metro stops, and the beauty of Jardin du Luxembourg. This is definitely the area to stay in in Paris for a local feel and atmosphere yet within an easy walk to the famous boulevards, museums and churches. Nearby Amenities On the same block or within a block there are great shops and restaurants for all that you need to enjoy Paris(verger, wine, patisserie, cafe, restaurants, etc.). The House/Apartment Interesting character in this top floor (sixth floor) apartment with high ceilings, exposed beams, tall windows and an outlook overlooking the Parisian roof tops and street. A very quiet building as the main room looks over the inner courtyard. You can use the elevator but we preferred the circular staircase with the stained glass windows at each landing. Garden No balcony but the large windows opened on two sides of the apartment (bedroom and living room/kitchen). Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas Small dining table suitable for two; several large and comfortable sofas - lots of cushions so very good for relaxing after long walks in Paris. Bedrooms/Bathrooms We preferred sleeping on the queen-size sofa bed in the living room as it was a hot week (record temps for April) so the bedroom a little small and warm for the two of us. Kitchen Very functional and complete kitchen including a washer-dryer! Go to the Parisian markets and enjoy your meals at home for sure. Problems or Bonuses Delightful views across the Parisian roof tops. Excellent large shower. Agency and Representatives (and price) We were well looked after by Parry as we made arrangements beforehand and by the agent, Laurent, who met us at the apartment. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others? Yes, I would stay here again. I hope the apartment - which is delightful in its colours and decor - is kept up well and continues to be an enjoyable place for experiencing Paris. Things to do in this area Shop at the verger across the street for fresh fruits and vegetables and go to the wine & cheese store one block away for helpful and delicious products. Have coffee at the cafe across from Saint Sulpice and go to the "Restaurant" for delicious Parisian dinner in a relaxed setting (but go after eight as that's when it opens!).

The location for this apartment was perfect for me as I was enrolled at Academie de la Grande Chamiere for art studies. It was 10 minutes walk for me each morning. The apartment has wonderful light with 3 pairs of French doors and a large sky light. The bathroom was also well lit by natural light and the shower was indeed better than the one I have at home. The bed was good and the sofa bed was as well. Very comfortable seating in the living area. An asset, a fine asset for this apartment is Franck, the manager, consierge. He was always attentive to all needs and I felt was a "safety net" to a person living a month in Paris. I was very perturbed with no oven or micro when I arrived but by the third week I had adjusted. I liked the apartment. And it was very secure, very safe. I would stay there again...

Dear Pary, We had a lovely time in Paris, and really enjoyed staying in your apartment. Thanks for leaving the little Occitane creams and lotions (my favorite!) Laurent Pascal was a pleasure, too. Unfortunately, most of the local cafes were closed for the holiday week (Bread and Roses, the one by the Luxembourg Gardens, the patisserie up the street...)... We did make it to the Musee d'Orsay, the Orangerie, and for a ride on a Bateau Mouche. I hope you had wonderful holidays - and all best for a healthy and happy 2010! Melissa Block

We just wanted to take a moment to thank you for doing such a great job with the apartment on Reu Madame. The location is fantastic, the furnishings were stylish and comfy and the light in the apartment even in the dead of winter makea waking up each morning a delight. The neighborhood has a perfect combination of storybook architecture and the best qualities of real life of in a city. We enjoyed many great meals in the neighborhood, but most outstanding was Les Papilles: 30, rue Gay- Lassac on the opposite side of the park. It is a wine 'cave" that also serves food.

We had a simply wonderful week in Paris and enjoyed so much the accommodations at the Rue Madame apartment. As others have already written, the location is excellent, the apartment is clean and efficient, and the shower much better than the one we have at home. Pary could not have been easier to work with and we were most comfortable in getting the arrangements taken care of with her in advance. We hope to return to Paris in the not too distant future and will certainly contact Pary again. My one recommendation: take Pary's tips along with you when you are out during the day and you will save yourself a lot of time looking for a wine store! Apartment living in Paris just is the best way to experience this beautiful city.

We absolutely loved the neighborhood! It is a very quiet neighborhood at night but it so well connected to the shopping areas and the Luxembourg Gardens. It has been recently remodeled - the kitchen is well stocked and the shower is one of the finest that we've used in Paris. This was our first time using VRBO and our experience with Pary Weinberg was really great. We would highly recommend this apartment and we will probably stay here again.

This apartment was perfect for us. The location was wonderful with so many nice and helpful store owners nearby, as well as the gardens, the shops, etc.. It was very quiet in the apartment and made for great sleeping arrangements with our 6 month old. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed and furniture comfortable, and the shower hot. The owners were wonderful to work with. My IPhone was on the fritz which contained all of the apartment specifics and Pary seemed happy to help me from the US with virtually no notice. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Number 67 Rue Madame is a bright, clean and tastefully furnished apartment with a new and efficient kitchenette and a wonderful shower in the bathroom. It is perfectly located in a quiet, charming, and convenient neighborhood. An entrance to the beautiful Luxemburg Gardens is around the corner at Rue Fleurus. A pleasant stroll across the gardens takes you to the 5th arrondissment with the historical and colorful Latin Quarter, with the Cluny Museum, the Sorbonne, and many charming streets and squares at the heart and soul of the Latin Quarter. At nearby Place St. Placide you can take the Metro or nearby busses to many destinations on the left and right banks as well as to Gare Montparnasse. There is a friendly green grocer and convenient market nearby as well as a friendly restaurant on Rue Fleurus for breakfast or lunch. There also is a new Italian restaurant at 27 Rue Madame serving excellent food and pizza. It is open for dinner only and is closed on Mondays. In this elegant and pleasant neighborhood we felt very much like native Parisians. Delphine, who stopped by on the last day of the visit to collect the keys, was charming and helpful. She miraculously obtained a taxi at a difficult and critical hour and even helped to take down the luggage. I should note that near the end of our stay our visit was marred by an unfortunate accident sending one of us to the hospital, requiring surgery. The owners were most sympathetic and most gracious in allowing us to keep the apartment until discharge from the hospital and we are most grateful to them for their kindness. Mr. and Mrs. Weinberg were wonderful and very easy to work with throughout the entire rental experience. We certainly are encouraged to return to complete our "unfinished business" in Paris.

Hi, Pary, Here's my review on Slowtrav...you are more than welcome to post the link to it on your website as a recommendation, or you can cut and paste from it, if you like. I'm still full of great memories of our stay there...thank you so much! Brenda Excerpt from Brenda's review: "Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas Because this is a new rental, everything inside of the apartment is also new. The furniture is in excellent condition, very comfortable and as clean as can be. There is comfortable seating space in the living room area for six people. Bedroom The queen bed in the bedroom is very comfortable and has a duvet, quilt and blanket, so we chose what we needed to keep us warm in our beds. The bed linen is spotless, crisply laundered and folded. There is a wide selection of sheets to choose from in the cabinet. Kitchen I totally adore this kitchen ... brand-new, filled with everything I dream of finding in a kitchen when I'm traveling! The top cabinet is filled with enough kitchen dishes to keep us going for a full day or two of food prep. Besides the usual dinnerware, there is a stack of cafe latte bowls ... perfect for cereal for my granddaughter and my morning fruit salad and yogurt. Bathroom The bathroom is heavenly! The shower is really large, has shiny-new sliding glass doors and it has the best water pressure and hot water supply of any vacation rental I've stayed. A skylight over the shower floods the bathroom with gorgeous light during the day. We absolutely loved the shower; it was such a treat for us! Agency and Representatives (and price) The English-speaking owners of this apartment are fantastic to work with. They accommodated our travel dates without a second thought, added a day on at the end to help me out when my flight home was delayed, answered every single question that I asked and provided crystal-clear directions with loads of helpful hints in a very informative package,. The apartment is exactly as shown in photos on their website and on VRBO. Actually, it is nicer than the photos show, especially the bathroom. Everything that the owners have listed in their info on the various websites is accurate to the nth degree. I was very well informed by their advertising and pleasantly surprised to find the apartment was everything they promised, and more. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others? I would stay here again in a Parisian heartbeat! I'd recommend this apartment to my best friend, and to anyone

The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are modern and beautifully designed with all the conveniences one needs - very spacious for the two of us. Telephone for long distance and the Wi-Fi are useful as well. This was our first trip to Paris and it was very easy to find the apartment, taking public transportation from CDG airport. The location could not be better. Coordinating our visit with the owners, Pary & Lewis, and their representative in Paris went smoothly. There are numerous wonderful areas within walking distance from the apartment – Jardin du Luxembourg, Vavin, St. Germain and metro stops close by also. There are many nice restaurants and shops nearby as well as the café across the street. I researched many apartments before choosing this one and am confident I made the right choice. We hope to return again. Thank you for such a memorable trip!

We recently returned from our trip to Paris. We had a fantastic time and the apartment was FABULOUS! We loved it! It was absolutely perfect for us. The apartment was gorgeous and the furnishings, kitchen and bathroom were brand new. The neighborhood was excellent; so quiet but close to all the cafes, shops and all of the sites. The close proximity to Luxembourg gardens and the metro and RER train were an excellent bonus. I must say breakfast at home the morning we returned home was not the same as breakfast at Bread and Roses café across the street from our wonderful apartment! I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed the apartment. You were so helpful during the rental process and made the whole experience so easy. We had the most wonderful one week visit to Paris despite travel delays and lost luggage. The apartment became our retreat and our haven. I was traveling alone with my teenage daughter. We felt very safe even when we ventured out in the late evening. The apartment is in an incredible location - there is every form of transportation, shopping, and sights close by. The gardens, one block away, are an amazing place to rest and enjoy the beauty of the city and her people. A bonus, that became a necessity because of our luggage woes, was the free internet and international calls. Both beds, with their exquisite linens, were very, very comfortable. We caught up on our sleep the first night. We were in Paris the first week of April - the weather was still a little chilly and mostly rainy. We hardly noticed, even though we live in sunny Florida, because the apartment was such a clean, bright, and quiet place to come home to. Thank you so much Pary for your help in our travels and for such a fabulous place. Sincerely, Sharon and Abbie

We stayed in the Paris apartment on Rue Madame over the Easter weekend. It was fabulous. It is about 400 sq/ft but with the open layout, it seemed much bigger and was plenty comfortable for the four of us. The photos were very accurate and the location of the apartment was superb. Close to restaurants and cafes. It was easy to get anywhere in the city from this location with several metro stops within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and the logistics of meeting up with the caretaker went very smoothly. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for adding to a very positive Paris experience.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay Rue Madame. This apartment has everything you need while staying in Paris. It was extremely comfortable, very well furnished, beautifully decorated and very sunny. You could even see the Eiffel Tower from the bedroom! The location in the Latin Quarter is fantastic and many landmarks are within walking distance. It is also close to several subway and bus lines. Oh la la!! This is a fabulous spot, steps to the Jardins de Luxembourg & the wonderful Bread & Roses bakery/lunch just acrosss. Ideally located in a quiet part of the 6th- we had 4 of us(all related),including my 8-yr old son. The renovated bathroom was pure luxury in an older building, as was the new kitchen! Bright & sunny spot and a perfect spot to come home to at the end of a day of sightseeing, shopping & eating.Easy access to Rennes metro station & organic market on Sunday am- the best! My son played in the parc w the French children & ran to the bakery whenever he had 1E for a croissant. We highly recommend this apartment and can't wait to go back! Clean, well-appointed & lovely people to work with- owners and care-takers alike.

Comment Text: We could not have been happier with our experience at 6 Rue Madame. It is perfectly situated: Wonderful cafe across the street, markets and bakeries on every other corner, the spectacular Luxembourg Gardens a mere block away, and the rest of Paris a short walk or Metro trip away. The unit itself is extremely comfortable and beatifully decorated. It has the perfect combination of old world charm and modern convenience. The owners were a pleasure to work with, and their representatives in the city were lovely and gracious. We shall never stay at a hotel in Paris again, now that we've had this experience.

Our Stay in the Luxembourg Garden Apartment was fantastic!!! It was unbelievably quiet. The booking process was very personable. The furnishings were fresh and new. We loved the location. Located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, it was an oasis within walking distance from the Louvre, St. Suplice, and we even walked to the Eiffel Tower. It really gave us the feeling that we lived as locals during our stay. I would give my highest recommendation for this accommodation to anyone looking to spend a week or more in Paris. Thanks!
