This 3/2 home with solar heated pool is located in the northern part of Port Charlotte. It is a very spacious, cozy home away from home. This split plan home has a large master bedroom with king size bed, private full bath, and walk-in closet. Kitchen and dining area separates the other two bedrooms and full bath. Second bedroom has a queen bed and third bedroom has a full. The living room has a queen size hide-a-bed. Port-a-crib and a youth bed are available with advanced notice.
Master bedroom, dining room, and one bedroom have sliding doors that open to the lanai with pool access. Large open pool for tanning and relaxing. Great place to have a family vacation. Large fenced in back yard so children and pets will be safe. Quiet neighborhood. No indoor smoking! Broadband Internet and 2 bikes for you to use.
YMCA fitness center is within walking distance. Local beaches, golf, shopping, and cinemas are within 5 minutes of property. Port Charlotte has an array of fine dining, casual dining, and night clubs. Sunsplash water park is about 40 minutes south in Cape Coral. Tampa's Bush Gardens and Adventure Island water park is approximately 75 minutes north on I-75 and Orlando is about 3 hours away. Punta Gorda hosts many of festivals year round and is the home of the Red Fish tournament. Fisherman Village has several shops to enjoy and you can book a sunset dinner cruise or carter a boat for fishing. Many exciting activities within a short drive.

This was a great house to rent for the week we stayed in the Port Charlotte area. It was clean and decorated very well. The back yard is great and had a very private feel, though there are neighbors all around. Very quiet neighborhood, but close to restaurants and shopping. The best restaurant we found was Shark's Fish House on Tamiami Trail, about 3 miles or so south of here. The owner was quick to answer e-mails and was very easy to work with. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to rent a vacation home in the Port Charlotte area.

For a band that spends most of its downtime in hotels, this was a welcome change. This comfortable home easily accommodated our large group and allowed us easy access to all of Port Charlotte's amenities. (It's located right in the middle of everything.) The neighborhood was quiet, and perfect for a bike ride. Due to our hectic concert schedule, we never got to use the pool, but I noticed the solar heater kept it a pleasant temperature on a unusually cool Florida day. Thanks so much, K & C! Y'all rock! That's what we were thinking about until I came across VRBO. What a great value for the money. The house is so neat and clean, and the pool was wonderful. I can't think of one thing we needed, that we didn't have. The owners were only a phone call away, and were very helpful with any questions that we had. We hope to rent here again in the future.

Couldn't ask for more. We have stayed across the bridge many times in various houses, condos and motels. This beats them all for price and access to restuarants, shopping, etc. It's VERY clean and well maintained. Do yourself a service and rent this property!@

Feb - March 2011 **Comment left from our Welcome Book** Kurt and Sheryl, We have had a fantastic time in your home. Rosie, Duffy, and Duke have enjoyed the yard. Rosie especially liked the squirrels who would always be on the other side of the fence. We have found great restuarants and enjoyed the closeness of shopping. Spent many hourse in the pool and eating on the Lanai. You have provided a wonderful home with everything we needed to spend windter away from home. We will see you nest year. #1 restaurant we found for good shrimp and fish 776 cake - Englewood. Chuck and Shery and Dogs, Thanks for letting them come along.
