This was a great house to rent for the week we stayed in the Port Charlotte area. It was clean and decorated very well. The back yard is great and had a very private feel, though there are neighbors all around. Very quiet neighborhood, but close to restaurants and shopping. The best restaurant we found was Shark's Fish House on Tamiami Trail, about 3 miles or so south of here. The owner was quick to answer e-mails and was very easy to work with. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to rent a vacation home in the Port Charlotte area.

For a band that spends most of its downtime in hotels, this was a welcome change. This comfortable home easily accommodated our large group and allowed us easy access to all of Port Charlotte's amenities. (It's located right in the middle of everything.) The neighborhood was quiet, and perfect for a bike ride. Due to our hectic concert schedule, we never got to use the pool, but I noticed the solar heater kept it a pleasant temperature on a unusually cool Florida day. Thanks so much, K & C! Y'all rock! That's what we were thinking about until I came across VRBO. What a great value for the money. The house is so neat and clean, and the pool was wonderful. I can't think of one thing we needed, that we didn't have. The owners were only a phone call away, and were very helpful with any questions that we had. We hope to rent here again in the future.

Feb - March 2011 **Comment left from our Welcome Book** Kurt and Sheryl, We have had a fantastic time in your home. Rosie, Duffy, and Duke have enjoyed the yard. Rosie especially liked the squirrels who would always be on the other side of the fence. We have found great restuarants and enjoyed the closeness of shopping. Spent many hourse in the pool and eating on the Lanai. You have provided a wonderful home with everything we needed to spend windter away from home. We will see you nest year. #1 restaurant we found for good shrimp and fish 776 cake - Englewood. Chuck and Shery and Dogs, Thanks for letting them come along.

We had a great time at this clean, beautiful home while we were house hunting in the area from 8/26-9/1. What a relaxing place to return to at the end of a day of house hunting!!! Sheryl and Kurt have provided everything you could possibly need and restaurants, grocery stores, etc are close by!!! We are actually returning for 2 weeks prior to closing on our new home- a great place for a little R& R before the unpacking begins!! Thnaks for sharing your home with us!!!

Couldn't ask for more. We have stayed across the bridge many times in various houses, condos and motels. This beats them all for price and access to restuarants, shopping, etc. It's VERY clean and well maintained. Do yourself a service and rent this property!@

April 10, 2009 for a week **Comment entered in our Welcome Book** Sheryl and Kurt, Seldom do you find a rental home this comfortable and clean which also is dog friendly. It is relatively close to all shopping and good restaurants including DONATO'S, Panera, Joe Crackers, and Jason's Deli to name a few. Although we didn't prepare any meals while we were here, the house came fully equipped for everything you might need. If you go to Venice make sure to put Sharkey's and The Crows nest on your list for good food. Venice also has a dog beach and you can even lunch with your four legged companion at Pop's Sunset Grill in Nokomis. I wish we could have stayed longer and will be back again. Lisa and Mark

Sheryl & Kurt, You have a lovely house. It is perfectly located,tastefully decorated,quite neighborhood,clean, fully equiped kitchen & the pool was great! We had a wonderful time! We were married in Punta Gorda, it was a lovely location. We have been here a month, but are leaving tomorrow. Hopefully we will be purchasing our own piece of sunshine in Port Charlotte. If not we will definitely be back. We enjoyed the bikes, shopping at BEALLS, if you don't have one go there it is great! Great yard for dogs, but if you are a pet owner & rent please be responsible & respect their home! Port Charlotte is close to everything,Fort Meyers & Sanibel are about 45min, Venice 1/2 hr. We took in an NHL game in Tampa - a treat - as one can't afford to do that in Tornoto. The pool and patio are great, we enjoyed late dinners by candle light and some noisy card games (hope the neighbors didn't mind). The weather was perfect - we're sad to leave. We visited this home during November. We had such a lovely time. The home was very nice and the new furniture was beautiful. Beds were comfortable and the pool was refreshing. The weather couldn't have been better. We will be back.

Your house has everything a vacationer would need. Our stay has been great, with the many different restaurants here and Punta Gorda and North Port. Englewood Beach was the best of 3 that we visited.
