We had a wonderful week at this beautiful property in Provence. The property was exactly as described well amenitised, maintained and very comfortable. The weather was perfect. We swam everyday in the pool. The owner and the property manager were very responsive to any questions and issues . Almost everyday we went on a driving adventure. Our favorite three day trips were as follows ,the beaches south of Frejus followed by a drive along the coast road to Cannes, a drive to Mons then Castellanne and then to the Gorge at Verdon, and finally a trip to Grass followed by a trip to St Paul en Foret.Our favorite evening was the dinner we enjoyed in the nearby village of Seillans at a restaurant called the Le Relais.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.

Extremely well equipped villa in a great location..perfect for just relaxing by the pool, visiting the local villages or day tripping further afield to St Tropez, Cannes and Monaco. Had a wonderful time and the weather was simply perfect!

"Wow! We had a wonderful week in June 2010 at Villa Seillans. It is even better than the website indicates. The local hilltop towns like Seillans and Fayence are wonderful. Eight towns in total. Great owners. Great caretakers. They were a pleasure to work with. Great activities within 5 minutes or by day trip (take a train to Monaco for the kids). Wish we could have stayed a month. All we can say is incredible!!!"

My husband and I stayed at the Villa Seillans for 9 wonderful days. The house was everything that Eddy and Hilde had written about it. It was sparkling clean and had every amenity.My husband has a bad back and he could not stop raving about the comfortable bed. Eddy and Hilde could not have been more gracious and were amazingly helpful, answering all our questions and providing lots of info about the surrounding area. The location is perfect, nestled between two charming medieval villages where we visited artists shops, restaurants and local markets. During our stay we drove to Nice, Antibes, Vence, Cannes, St Tropez, Frejus and Aix en Provence and still had time to photograph the lovely hilltop villages. Even though it was just my husband and me, when we return (and we definitely will) we will bring our family, as the house could easily accommodate them. We highly recommend Villa Seillans as a South of France destination.

We stayed in Villa Seillans as a last-minute emergency in April, 2010 as our original travel plans were disrupted by the Icelandic volcano. Eddy, the owner was extremely responsive and helpful to us, allowing us to go from homeless to a comfortable villa in the course of one afternoon! The villa is very modern and well equipped inside and out. The location is convenient to many beautiful villages, such as Seillans, Callian, Montauroux, Bargemon etc, as well as great scenery all around the area. We would strongly recommend this villa.

What a lovely place! We stayed here together with our parents in November 2009. The location is superb,the villa exceptional, clean, modern, spacious and very comfortable. Can't wait to return again.

Our family of five stayed here in October of 2009. We were a "last minute" rental, but the owners were very accommodating. The villa is beautiful - everything was in perfect order - fresh flowers/wine/soft drink. The pool was well used (even if a bit chilly) and we enjoyed exploring the nearby beautiful serene areas. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the villa for our honeymoon and it was the most amazing getaway. The villa was spotless, appliances were top notch and we felt like we were in our own oasis. Close enough to all the hot spots on the Riviera, but far enough away to be out of the rat race. The local villages on the hillside offered amazing restaurants and we loved going to the famers markets every day for fresh food. Hope to return to Sellians one day again and would love to stay again.

We had a wonderful week in this villa in August 2009. The villa is set in a quiet, rural setting, but shops are only a 5 to 10 minute drive away. The villa has a large swimming pool which we used daily - the water was a perfect temperature. The surrounding countryside has tremendous natural beauty. We would definately stay here again.

We stayed in this villa at the beginning of September 2008. The villa itself was lovely, the interior was modern and very comfortable, and the grounds and pool were fantastic. Eddie & Hilde have made sure there are lots of creature comforts at the villa, and we stayed with 2 young children so the highchair and cot came in very handy (take your own bedding for the cot though as there wasn't any when we were there). We often lunched out on the patio and stumbled over to the hammock and pool in the afternoon. It was a lovely, relaxing week and we would go back without hesitation. We did not venture very far this holiday as it was our first stop after arriving from Australia, but we did enjoy dinner in the peaceful town of Seillans a couple of times. The town of Seillans is like something out of a movie and dinner under the trees in the town square is not to be missed. My husband took his bike and rode around the surrounding mountains which were beautiful. Eddie was very helpful throughout the booking process, and in particular when the internet was not working, as he went out of his way to have it fixed for us, and the caretakers Jan and Majken were lovely. All in all a great week - highly recommended!

Villa Seillans, a great example of your dream cottage- holiday in the South of France ! We had a wonderful time, due to the perfect location of the property. A nice drive to all directions: Cannes, Antibes, St.Tropez and the Gorges of Verdon, we've done them all. A big compliment to Eddy and Hilde for creating such a pleasant atmosphere in the cottage and being such fantastic hosts ! Thank you, and we will definitely consider coming back again. Perfect villa and perfect location made for the perfect vacation. The villa was lovely and the small touches such as the high end kitchen ware, patio setting near the pool, and recent renovations went beyond our expectations. Not only is this a spacious villa in a beautiful mountainous setting, but the location is amazing. Provencal France has so much to offer for any type of person. We took several day trips around the area including: Monaco, Nice, Cannes, St. Tropez, Grasse, Gorges du Verdon, and even went gliding out of the nearby town of Fayence (a must do)!
