This brand new home, located on a cul de sac at the top of Laurel Mountain is situated on 1.3 acres. This vacation home was designed exclusively with discriminating renters in mind. Every detail in the floor plan provides the guest with room to relax. Nine foot ceilings and private spaces offer escape into a favorite book or hobby. A remarkable sense of peace and quiet can be found throughout the lodge. This property is perfect for families, (with older children, not toddler or young child friendly), or two to three couples who want to spend some quality time together without interfering with each other’s space. The two first floor master suites, with new plush Sealy Posturpedic king size beds, provide the ultimate in sleeping comfort. Luxury linens and towels are provided. All bathrooms contain comfort height vanities.
Upstairs there is the tastefully furnished 360 degree loft area. This second story offers two separate sleeping areas, one with twin beds and one with a queen size bed. Additionally, a full bathroom completes this living area which provides entertainment for the entire family. This serene space is equipped with a 61" Samsung HDTV with plenty comfortable seating, DVD/VCR, portable CD player, X-Box gaming system, a game table containing 5 board games, a library with videos and books, video games for use by guests, a new queen size sleeper sofa and of course, unsurpassed mountain views. This is the perfect space to curl up in the corner with a good book or a needlework project in the Lazy boy chaise lounge!
The fully equipped kitchen,(service for 10 and staples provided), boasts an eat-in island with prep sink and dishwasher, pendant lights, garbage disposal,Thermador cook top and oven, new 25 cubic foot Whirlpool Gold side by side refrigerator, beautiful porcelain tile floors, custom cabinetry and all of the comforts of home allowing the cook to prepare family meals in a gourmet setting. You can even rinse your dishes while taking in the idyllic mountain top view! The new matching Whirlpool washer and dryer sit in their own, beautifully tiled laundry room, conveniently located off one of the master suites on the main floor.
The great room with its 26’ cathedral ceiling provides a wonderful area to gather for meals and to enjoy the 48" spectacular stone-faced gas fireplace. This area truly gives the home a mountain lodge feel. All areas of the home are furnished with new and comfortable furniture. A dining table that can extend to seating for 10 adds an updated change of pace as the family gathers for meals. This house is suitable for families with children over the age of 8.
In addition to the back deck, there is peaceful front porch situated in front of the unique and stately leaded glass and mahogany double doors. There is a gas grill for cookouts, geothermal air and heat system, cable TV, WiFi Internet,plus a detailed renter's manual with instructions for every gadget. There are plenty of spots to sit in the rocking chairs and enjoy the chattering humming birds, grazing deer and diverse species of birds and butterflies that frequent this mountain retreat. For outdoor dining with a view and fresh mountain air, we provide a dining set, complete with two swivel rockers and cushions. It doesn't get much better than this!
Adagio Lodge is located near many outdoor recreational venues such as the New River, famous for its kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and hiking trails. Stone Mountain State park, Mt. Rogers and other great day trips throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains. |
