This Lake Las Vegas jem is great for quiet relaxation and golf with friends and family, yet it is only minutes away from The Las Vegas Strip, known for its world renown resorts with shopping, dining, shows, nightclubs & gaming.So if you are planning to attend a Convention @ the Las Vegas Convention Center, the PBR(Frofessional Bull Riders Rodeo, the NFR ( National Finals Rodeo) or a seminar on the Las Vegas Strip, but don't want the hustle and bustle of the strip, this is the place to stay. Lake Mead Recreational Area, Red Rock National Conservation Area and Valley of Fire State Park are great are close enough for easy access to hiking, biking, boating, fishing, swimming & water skiing. Historic Boulder City, known for being the only city in Nevada with no gaming, is full of quaint antique stores and perfect for enjoying a glass of fine wine @ Milo's Sidewalk Cafe on a lazy afternoon or stroll through the Art in The Park art fair held every first weekend of October and while you are there, you have to visit the magnificent Hoover Dam that bridges the Colorado River and connects the State of Nevada to Arizona. To escape the heat in the summer you may wish to visit Mountain Charleston and enjoy hiking in cooler weather or do some snow boarding/skiing in the winter months. A 2-5 hour drive will get you to National Classics like Bryce & Zion Parks in Utah, Grand Canyon and Joshua Tree Monument in Arizona & Death Valley & Yosemite Park in California.

Why the Owner Chose Henderson
Suzana chose to buy her vacation rental at Lake Las Vegas Resort because of the resort's tranquility and beauty, which is so unlike the Las Vegas "Strip", which we experience in our almost everyday life here in Las Vegas. Suzana and her family love to travel, however due to the business does not get to travel too far too often. Therefore, something close to home that feels a million miles away was exactly what the doctor ordered for a busy family of 4, so that we can enjoy weekends " away".
The Unique Benefits at this Tri-Level Townhome
I love the quietness and the tranquility of the resort, the beauty of the views and the closeness to Las Vegas when we need to get "away from it all" and not have the time to travel to far out of town. Everytime we go, it feels like we are on vacation even though we are within a half hour of home.

Suzana has been a Las Vegas native since 1975, when her father immigrated from Slovenia, a small republic of then Yugoslavia. A graduate of Chapparral High School, she continued her education at the University of Arizona, where she received her Bachelor of Architecture in 1985. After receiving her license as an architect in 1991, she established her own architectural firm in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1994. She is married to another local professional and has two beautiful children, ages 12 and 15.

Thank you for letting us use your townhome for the month of March. We really enjoyed our time spent here and still got to see our Henderson family frequently.
