The house was clean, beds very comfortable, kitchen open and convenient. Worked well for children as there is an attached garage with a ping pong table, and games to play. Separate family room was a nice inside place to play for the children too. Loved the bright entrance, sun coming through in the mornings. Neighborhood was extremely quiet, yard maintained well, pleasant fenced back patio with table, hot tub and firepit. We'd love to rent it again!

Our long weekend was a reunion of 4 friends who have not been together for years. We had lots to get caught up on and this location provided the perfect setting for chats around the firepit, open kitchen, and lovely great room. The walk to the beach is simple and the view of Morro Rock is amazing. This location is a must if you want to be close to the water, main street, and the many locations in and around Morro Bay. Would return in a flash.

We stayed at The Palms for a week at the end of September 2011. What a treat! The house is just lovely, well appointed, clean and easy to use. The kitchen is so well equipped and, because it is open plan, it is very sociable to cook and chat at the same time. The lounge and family room are very comfortable and relaxing. As others have said, the beds are superb – so comfy. We loved the hot tub – very easy to use. The fire pit was good on cooler evenings and extended the time we could stay outside. Hummingbirds come to the flowers on the fence - which was a treat for us – the first we’d ever seen. The neighbourhood is very quiet, which really suited us after a busy week in Las Vegas and San Francisco. We loved being able to take the short walk to the ocean – and then we had practically the whole beach to ourselves! Bliss! We fell in love with Morro Bay – it is very quaint. We enjoyed the sea front and bought excellent fish from the fish market to cook back at The Palms. Booking and making arrangements for our visit were very easy thanks to Lisa, who also sorts out any problems very efficiently once you’re in the house. Top marks! The Palms is so well situated – we drove up Highway 1 to Cambria and then on to the bull seal colony. We explored south - if it’s cloudy at Morro Bay, it can be sunny at Avila Beach – another quaint place – and hot inland at San Luis Obispo – both worth a visit. The outlet mall at Pismo Beach is also worth visiting. We cannot recommend this house highly enough – one of the best we have rented. We didn’t want to leave! The home is beautifully decorated with great attention to details. When I saw the home on VRBO I thought it was nice but being there in person gives you a real appreciation for style and comfort. From the time we opened the front door we were very impressed. The wide open entry with a great kitchen open to the dining area, family room and living area was perfect conversations. We all enjoyed the spa at one time or another . . . especially the grandkids. Lisa, what a nice touch to welcome your guest with a bottle of wine. It was truly a pleasure to work with Lisa and have the pleasure of staying in her home for a family gathering.
Owner response:Rosie, Thank you so much for the kind words... we take a lot of pride in our home and our customer service and love to hear that you enjoyed yourself. It is really rewarding to share our home and give others a place to create some wonderful memories. Kindest regards to you <3

The only thing I wish we'd had was more time. It was a wonderful girls weekend, but oh so short. Enjoyed staying at this lovely home. Six of us girls were in need of a weekend away to relax and unwind. A beautiful weekend it was... Great weather! The house is located at the end of a quiet dead end street. Close to the beach, and friendly neighbors. After a day in san luis obispo hitting the spa, shopping, and dinner, the hot tub at the house was a great bonus before settling in to relax and watch a movie. Lisa was super helpful in getting our weekend set up. We'd love to stay here again. Next time we'll plan to stay longer though! :)
Owner response:You girls are welcome to come back any time and we so agree! A weekend is not enough time to spend in our home or in Morro Bay! So many things to do and not enough time to do them all! We appreciate your kind words and are always grateful for the wonderful guests we have that stay in our home. Best regards, LMW

We stayed at the Palms for a week. Traveled from Colorado to visit our family that live nearby. I would highly recommend the palms to anyone that wanted to see the central coast. The Palms is a short block and a half to the beach for walks and runs on the most wonderful beach. The palms is updated and well maintained. The owners are accurate in saying you won't be disappointed. The locaction of the house is but a short distance to many fine restaurants and shops. It's a short drive to see many of the attractions of the central coast of CA. I very much enjoyed the neighbors. We were welcomed with a house warming gift and card. The amenities were everything I expected and more. The Palms is the place to stay!
Owner response:Thanks Harvey, You are so right the beach in front of our house is awesome and the location is really convenient. Really happy to hear you enjoyed our home because we put a lot of effort into making sure we have thought of everything. Best to you and we hope you can come and visit us again soon. Kind Regards ~ LMW

We recently spent two months in Morro Bay and at The Palms, as the house is affectionately called. In order to be comfortable for two months in a place, it needs to have all the comforts of home. The Palms not only has all the comforts, it goes above and beyond the expectations of a high quality rental unit. You will not want for any entertainment items (great TV's and a fast internet connection), you will not want for any kitchen appliance (a margarita machine, a slow cooker and a kitchen aide mixer, to name a few), you will not want for outdoor comfort (a grill, a fire pit and a hot tub), you will not want for location (a mere 1/4 mile from the beach) and you will not want for a stable neighborhood (both Pete and Bev across the street and Pat next door are friendly and helpful - Pete and Bev have lived in the neighborhood since 1976 and can tell you a lot about the town and area). We especially enjoyed sitting out in the front yard in the warm sunny afternoons and sitting in the backyard near the fire pit in the cooler evenings. We also enjoyed a "neighborhood walk" south along Beachcomber to Cloister Park and a beach walk north to a place we could explore tide pools. There is a lot of love and tender loving care that goes into a high quality rental unit and you can tell that the Palms receives a lot of both from the William's family.

The Palms at Morro Bay was the perfect get-away retreat for our family holiday!! From walks on the beach, relaxing jigsaw puzzles in front of the large screen TV, open plan entertaining including patio dinners, s'mores over the firepit, and a relaxing soak in the hot tub under the stars, it was a wonderful change of pace for our busy family!! We loved having dinner at The Galley seafood restaurant at sunset including wildlife watching on the Embarcadero! Breakfast at Dorn's was a treat with a lovely view of the Bay and delicious food and great service. A great place for our busy family to gather midway between San Francisco and Pasadena for casual, comfortable family time!! The property was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Beds and bedding were luxurious and lovely!! The kitchen was well appointed with all we needed for family cooking and entertaining! The owner was very helpful and welcoming and able to answer all our questions. We will definitely be back again for another wonderful central coast retreat!! !!

Our daughter just graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and we wanted a home to be able to host extended family to help us join in the celebration Your home was incredible! Everyone had such a great time and we had plenty of room for all. It was so nice to have everything we needed to cook and entertain. You really thought of everything! (My nieces were pretty excited about the s'mores ingredients you had waiting for us, and they couldn't wait to make them). It was really a wonderful time, and your home made it so comfortable and enjoyable for all of us. Cushy beds and nice towels: now that's my idea of "roughing it"! :) Thank you so much for everything. It really was one of the best vacations we've had. We miss it already!

We stayed at The Palms, Morro Bay for 9 nights in September 09. The house was perfect for myself and my husband and our daughter and grandson who joined us there from Boise, Idaho. We found it to be spacious, clean and very comfortable with excellent facilities. We walked on the beach every morning, Sarah, our daughter, ran as she was training for the Portland Marathon! We had so much fun visiting the surrounding area and loved Avila and Pismo beaches also. We went to Cambria and Paso Robles for wine tasting, Lake Santa Margarita for hiking and San Luis Obisbo for browsing the shops. We cooked on the BBQ most nights and made good use of the Margarita maker! Could we make a request for an electric kettle - we Brits like tea and found boiling water in a saucepan annoying. Would love to return one day, maybe long term to escape the dreary British winter, that would be fabulous!

My wife and I and our 3 kids spent a whole month here and we loved it! The place is well furnished, clean, and generally very pleasant. We were close to the beach, and the area is nicely located so you can easily go to Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo, Moonstone State beach, and its not too far from Santa Barbara. We felt very comfortable in the house, it had everything we needed ... large flatscreen TV with Cable, internet access, hot tub ... it was extremely clean and well cared for ... We loved it so much we're already thinking about our next vacation!

Title- Girls Get Away We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful home ! 3 of my girlfriends and I stayed at the Palms in Morro Bay and LOVED IT! The house was clean and very complete. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was open and well equipped. We started the day with beach walks every morning and ended the day watching the amazing sunsets... We ate in often and when we went out we had dinner in Cambria ( Robin's) and would highly suggest it!! We shopped, we hiked, we watched chick flicks and enjoyed each others company. We also had the most incredible massage just a few miles away. We laughed a lot and felt like teenagers again......This was excellent therapy and a perfect break from reality. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Judy K.

This house was prefect! It was beautiful, comfortable and had all the amenities and then some. The house was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with many necessities. It is a quick easy walk to one of my favorite beaches and a very short drive to down town. There is also a ton to do and see around Morro Bay; The Palms was in the middle of it all which made exploring easy! Beside the location of the house, one of my other favorite things was the hot tub in the backyard; sitting out there at night relaxing and looking at the gorgeous stars. Yet I think the guys in our group would say the best thing about it was the huge flat screen TV, wireless internet connection, and the ping pong table! Regardless of what each one of us liked best there was something for everyone! I grew up going to Morro Bay, but many of my friends had never been there. Not only did they enjoy the area, but they also could not stop talking about what a good find the house was. When I was planning this trip I must have looked at about 100 houses; I am so glad I decided on The Palms. The owner provided amazing customer service. We had a few special requests and she was very willing to work each one out. Everyone is already talking about the next trip back; to the area and to this house! I would recommend this property to everyone! The Palms is now one of my new favorite places if you are lucky enough to stay there I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we did!

We enjoyed this beautiful and spacious home for a week in October. It was immaculate and upscale for a rental, from the well-appointed kitchen to the abundant supply of luxurious towels! It is a comfortable home with a great open floor plan, and only a short walk to the ocean. The outdoor firepit and spa were a treat. Speaking of treats....thank you for the "welcome" platter of smore's fixings. Your attention to detail made for a pleasant stay. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely home.

This is a perfect house in a perfect location! We had a wonderful week staying at The Palms, the sandy beach is just 5 minutes walk from the house and the quaint town of Morro Bay is just a short ride along Highway 1. Plenty to do and some lovely restauants. The house caters for everyone from games for the children to a Marguerita maker for the adults and a hot tub for everyone. We are now back in London but we will always remember our time in Morro Bay.

We travelled from the Wales (one of the countries that make up the United Kingdom !!) specifically to stay by the sea whilst on our month long tour of (CA/NV/AZ). We searched the web at length and this was the best mix of house for our family offering everything. A modern, clean, newly decorated house with all encompassing facilities with good value for money and with essential Web access. This is an ideal location for exploring the coast and the wine areas. We chilled by both day and night !!! The house has everything you need, just go exploring, get some wine, kick back and relax while you plug your camera into the massive Samsung TV and review your pictures. Whatever you do, you must go to the Farmers Market in near by SLO on a Thursday evening. Oh yes the family ping pong & darts competitions are now legend, event though I was not the outright champ, my kids are now faster than me .... :( Considering we were overseas renters, the owner was really good at dealing with me, Thanks.

This house is gorgeous with a stunning location! We rented this house from Nov. '07 to June '08 and found living here an absolute joy! The beach is less than a 5 min. walk. Downtown Morro Bay is less than a 5 min. drive, as is Cayucos. The neighbors are warm and friendly. If it wasn't for having to move for work, we would be still be there :-)

I hadn't been to Morro Bay in over 20 years, and I thought I'd like to visit there again. My husband and I were surfing the web to see what was available. I loved the pictures of The Palms at Morro Bay, thought the place was just lovely, and we decided...let's try it. Were we SO happy we did. This place is gorgeous, clean, and the owners have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and like royalty. We want to make this a regular vacation spot for us. It's so close to all we love to do and so easy to relax there. We would definitely recommend this to others---unless it gets to be too popular ;-) Save us a spot!

Fabulous beach rental!!! Spacious, beautiful, and easily accomodated our family. A short walk across the street to a great beach made it fun for our young children. The hot tub was great to relax in and we loved the ping pong and darts, too. There's even an outside shower to rinse off the salt and sand- nice touch!! We will definitely be coming back.
