Just one mile from historic downtown Hendersonville, our 1930s log cabin is only minutes from a lively and welcoming town. Browse through antique and art shops, eat at one of the many appetizing restaurants and coffee shops, or enjoy live music. In addition to the many attractions of downtown Hendersonville, there are numerous nearby attractions that promise to appeal to any visitor. Visit the DuPont State Forest, where you can hike and mountain bike to several stunning waterfalls. Fishing and hunting is also available with a NC permit in the DuPont State Forest. The Pisgah National Forest is also available for hiking, camping, tubing, and fishing, just 13 miles from Firefly Cabin. Interested in a scenic drive through the Smokey Mountains? Look no further than The Blue Ridge Parkway. Located 15 miles north of downtown Hendersonville, The Blue Ridge Parkway is comprised of 469 miles of amazing forests and views stretching from Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina and Tennessee. Looking for a day trip to a nearby lake? How about a lake that was named one of the Ten Most Spectacular man-made lakes in the World by National Geographic? Lake Lure is located 14 miles east of Hendersonville and offers a marina, boat tours and a sandy beach.
