I just got back from a long weekend away with 13 of my girlfriends. We had a fantastic time. The house slept all of us comfortably and there was plenty of room to hang out during the day. Great time had by all!

We have spent the last four Thanksgivings in this home. We love the main floor with its large, yet cozy living room, dining area and Kitchen. This greatroom has plenty of space for cooking and hanging out with a crew. The views are also amazing, especially from the spacious hot tub. The teenagers love to escape to the downstairs game room. I know that we will be back!

Excellent property!!!! 1st off, everything listed and shown is accurate. No hidden surprises. Great owners! The location is amazing with beautiful views and the feeling of being far away when you are 1 mile from most everything! Very comfortable and clean. We stayed 8 nights and truely enjoyed this home and the area. Tubing the Yampa River was awesome! 7 and 11 year olds had no problems and they are still taking about how cool it was. Great area with unlimited opportunities for fun and adventure.

Great home in Steamboat for a family or two. All the accoutrements needed for a fun week in the mountains. The home has a great view of Steamboat mountain about a mile away and river between. Mornings were highlighted by hot air balloons landing in the fields across the valley. The bike trail is easy access and a mile ride into town. Many restaurants to choose from depending on price range you desire. Quality food in all ranges. Great hikes available for beginner to advanced. Strawberry Springs a must as well as a tube ride down the river. Check for the flow first. We were allowed on the river the first day it opened and a quote "hour plus" ride lasted 25 minutes plus we got dumped. Don't lean back when the folks on shore are encouraging you so that you can get thru the falls... Overall, we felt like Steamboat was an excellent value relative to most other Colorado ski towns.

We stayed at Ski View House for our annual Steamboat Springs fall sabbatical. The privacy of the Tree Haus neighborhood and Jackie’s attention to detail in the house made for a restorative retreat. The 3 levels of the house that are ideally set up for multiple families worked for us to separate our backpacking and outdoor gear downstairs with direct access to the garage and left the main floor and master bedroom open for “no worry” relaxation. We had many backpacking adventures during our stay, returning to Ski Haus to rest, soak in the hot tub, and catch a little football on the huge TV. It was pretty sweet to watch the moon rise from behind the ski hill from the hot tub!

Our family and friends went to Steamboat Springs in search of a magical white Christmas and that is just what we got staying at Ski View Haus. We had the magical Christmas we had hoped for and got to participate in all manner of snow activities, all from the base of a home away from home. The house was perfect with wonderful amenities and fabulous extras, such as the spa with the best view around, tubes, entertainment options and many other touches. The house was a great size for our multiple family group, it was warm and welcoming, had a wonderful feel and breathtaking views. An amazing job has been done to provide a wonderful home and going above and beyond with extras … not to mention that Jackie went above and beyond in providing a Christmas tree for us to enjoy and plenty of information on the town amongst her wonderful and warm communication. It really was all that we could have hoped for and more. … We hope to return.

Ski View Haus is an incredible place to get away, and still be minutes from where you want to go. We visited in October during the heat wave between snow falls, and took full advantage of being able to walk in to town, shop, explore the places you don't go when your intent is to ski all week. Look forward to return trips in season and the summer. The house has a wonderful layout for all ages and there wasn't anything we found lacking. Thanks to the owners for the "users manual" with hints on everything from the dishwasher to where to get carry-out.

I frequently visit Steamboat Springs, both for work and for pleasure. My wife visited the Ski Haus with another couple for the Summer Wine festival and absolutely loved the place. It's the perfect location in my opinion. Far enough from down town and ski time square to make you feel 'Away' from it all, yet an easy jaunt to just about anywhere. Spectacular views of Mt. Werner and just a perfect sized house for a getaway. Loved everything about it, would recommend the home to anyone interested and am looking forward to visiting again.

I recently stayed at Ski View Haus July 12th for a Softball Tournament, this was our second consecutive year in a row and once again we had a wonderful time there. We biked down to the trails from the house into town, went tubing down the Yampa and of course ate at our favorite breakfast place - Freshies ! This was a different group of players this year and they absolutley loved the Ski View Haus. We are planning another trip for next July. Thanks again Jackie for working with us, we had a fantastic time !! - Aaron H.

Awesome place ! Unbelievable view of the ski mountain from the deck and hot tub. Plenty of room for a couple of families. It was great to have a kid's area downstairs with a tv and games, so the adults could enjoy the main living area with its fireplace and big screen HD tv. Beautifully remodeled and decorated. I will never stay anywhere else when I return to Steamboat.

My friends and I were looking for a close getaway from Denver. The Skiview Haus was perfect! Jackie was very accomodating and eager to provide all the info she could about the house and the town. It had plenty of room, all the perks, and a great price! We felt very comfortable lounching in the hot tub as the snow fell on the slopes and us. Even though we had ten people, we all felt conformtable. Looking forward to another trip to Steamboat and staying at the Skiview Haus! Thanks again Jackie

We had a great time with family and friends at Ski View Haus. The house was perfect for our three families. Some skied while a few enjoyed games at the house, shopping on the town and painting potter at The Pottery Wheel. The view from the house was Awesome! Big kids enjoyed inner tubbing outside of the house. We give this place a 10.

The accomadations were absolutely fantastic. We could not have asked for anything more! The hot tub, dry sauna and fully stocked game room were wonderful. We spent ten nights here and the kitchen had everything you might possibly need. The owners have such a beautiful home with an incredible view and the proximity to town and the bike trail was an added bonus. There has been a lot of thought and consideration that has gone into making this such a relaxing home. Thank you so very much! We will be back!

We LOVED the Ski View Haus. The location was perfect, far enough from town to feel like we were "getting away from it all", close enough to town to take advantage of all Steamboat has to offer. The house has plenty of room. We had everything we needed, kitchen, laundry, grill, hot tub, sauna, television, wireless internet, etc. The house was clean, everything worked so we could simply relax and enjoy. The view from the deck and hot tub is amazing. We hope to be back and if we can arrange it will stay here again!

We recently stayed at the Ski View Haus house for our softball tournament and I must say for all the years we have been going up to steamboat (7yrs) this was the best place we have stayed, I only wish we could have stayed at this place every year. The view was great from the balcony as we were able to watch the firework display put on by Steamboat. Access to town is literally 4 min away driving, the biking trails are very accessible from the house, (riding back up to the house is the hard part :) ). We are already trying to plan a trip during the winter for a ski trip, can't wait to get back up there ! Thanks Jackie !

A Winter Wonderland Paradise! This place was awesome - when we arrived we were blown away by the views from the house but from the hot tub, it was even better. Nothing like sipping some wine, looking out at the ski area and wondering what the rest of the world is doing. What a great time we had in this very spacious house that felt like home. The central location was great - we could get to the slopes and downtown in a matter of minutes. The large open dining and living area made a perfect place to gather and talk about old times. If you're going to Steamboat, this is the place to stay!

I've been skiing for 45 years and have been on every kind of imaginable trip you could mention - guys trips, my wife and I, our family (wife and two kids), couples and multi family excursions. We've stayed in really nice places but very small with uncomfortable couches, really big places that were old and moldy and really nice places but too far from the mountain. The Ski View Haus was the best place we ever stayed. Everything inside is brand spanking new. Appliances, HD TVs, linens, crockery, carpet, etc. The hot tub worked perfectly and the Sauna helped this has been extreme skier's fried thighs immensely. Everything was simple to use, easy to find and readily accessible. From the great ice maker and brand new huge gas grill to the gas fire place, HD Direct TV, DVD/VCR player to internet access with my lap top - EVERYTHING WORKED! We packed light so the brand new front loading washer and super fast dryer were a life saver. The bunk room was perfect for the five boys. Easy access garage for storing boards and skis made for easy access before and after hitting the slopes. As Arnold would say "I'LL BE BACK"

Some things to know about Ski View Haus: 1. Excellent location. We clocked the trip from haus to grocery store at about 3 minutes. From haus to free resort parking and Ski Time Square is about 5 minutes. Haus to Old Town Hot Springs is 5 minutes. Downtown Steamboat is about 7 minutes. It would be tough to rent an affordable single-family home and beat the location. 2. Great view of Steamboat from the deck! Bring binoculars. 3. Haus and all facilities are in excellent condition. This is the nicest, most spacious house we've rented in 10 years of ski trips around the U.S. 4. Excellent communication with the owners. Jackie was very accommodating.

As a former resident of Steamboat Springs, I really enjoyed our stay at Ski View Haus. With it's central location, getting between the Mountain and Downtown was quite simple. We stayed in Feb. of 08, there was a record breaking amount of snow. I was impressed with the amount of care given to the property, snow removal was second to none. The driveway is steep but we never had a problem getting up the driveway. I would like to mention a very nice couple were in charge of property management and just a phone call away if we needed anything. They were great. We can hardly wait till we get the chance to stay at Ski View Haus again.

We had a perfect vacation at Ski View Haus over New Years 2007/2008. The home had a perfect kitchen with amenities and open family room area as well as an ideal bedroom for children. We had 6 children and 3 adults in the 2 families and couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation home. The view of the ski hill was beautiful over New Years and we hope to return next year!

We Stayed at this beautiful home over Thanksgiving and it exceeded our expectations in every way. It has a very open, spacious living room/kitchen area that fits a crowd comfortably. Our group really appreciated the rec. room in the basement so that our kids had their own hangout zone. The view of Steamboat Ski Area from the front windows and the hot tub can't be beat. I would highly recommend this home, I know that we will be back.
