In the summer, Ocean Downs (only two miles away) offers harness racing, and as of January 4, 2011 a casino. Additionally, dogs are welcomed at Assateague Island beach.
Included with the home is a parking pass and access card to the Ocean Pines Beach Club, which is located at 49th Street on the beach (across the street from the famous Seacrets Night Club.) The Beach Club includes restrooms, showers, a swimming pool, and beach parking. Food and beverages are available for purchase, as well as an outdoor cocktail bar. The Ocean Pines community offers weekly swimming passes to their five pools for a nominal fee.
This homes offers a spacious kitchen, a family room, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and laundry facilities with a full size washer and dryer. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and a private master bathroom. One of the additional bedrooms is furnished with a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two single beds. You can have it all, enjoy the day at the beach and come back to a full size house for the family to enjoy. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook all your daily meals, if desired.
