We grabbed a few days on the Gulf. This place was very nice. We brought our two Cairn Terriers and our 4 teenagers. The beach was great. The house comfortable. The October sun was strong..... remember your sunscreen. Also, make sure you pack tiolet paper so you have it when you arrive..... Next year, we plan on booking earlier and staying longer. We had dinner one night a Lamberts in Foley..... worth the experience. High recommend it.

Bonnie Dune is a great place to spend a relaxing beach vacation! We vacationed with our children, their spouses and our grandchildren. It is located in a residential neighborhood about 300 feet from the beach which, by the way, is in pristine condition. There is a wonderful view of the sand dunes, beaches and gulf from the main living area of the house. The house has all the amenities needed for a vacation including a kitchen well stocked with items needed for cooking (bowls, pans, cooking utensils, cups, plates, pots, etc). The house was very clean and has a good supply of towels and bed linens. There are even a few board games available for use. This house has two great additional features - a private swimming pool and and a glassed in air-conditioned porch that has a day bed. We used the pool in the afternoon while the grandchildren napped. We hope to return for another visit next year - we had a wonderful time! Would recommend Tacky Jack's for a good time and also the fresh seafood market by the Pines Restaurant. It's a good idea to stop at the grocery store on the trip in to Ft. Morgan - we used the Publix in Foley on 59. Great new store! Donna (leasing manager) was very helpful in answering questions. I liked the idea of a local contact in case there were any issues.

I stayed at Bonnie Dune for 2 weeks. Couldn't have ask for better weather. The pool was great and loved my morning walks on the beach. It was great being able to bring my dog with me, she loved chasing all the lizards on the deck. Donna you are the best! The house was clean and very comfortable. The beach was not crowded at all and I loved how quaint the area seemed to be. Can't wait to come back and have it all again!

Happy to have stumbled upon this treasure on the Gulf in 2008! A great vacation home for a romantic getaway, girl/guy get together, families with little ones or teens, pet lovers, adventure seekers. There are many things to do right in the vicinity of the house and also within a 20-30 minute drive. There are museums, park attractions, walk trails, Zoo and animal refuges, not to mentions tons of restaurants, golf and fishing adventures. Add to that a well kept beach only a short walk away and your own private pool to use at anytime. Some of our favorite things are sitting in the sunroom watching the waves, watching the porpoises play, listening to the waves from the deck, and the breathtaking views, Dolphin Express Cruise at sunset and dinner at Flippers! Our golden retriever is able to be with us and that is one of the reasons we love this home so much, he enjoys the beach life! We always wanted to have "that place" to vacation every year and in 2008 we found it and we anxiously await Septembers arrival every year so we can make our way back to our place of tranquility! Very thankful for the owners who graciously open up this wonderful beach house to responsible renters and Ms. Donna who has been a wonderful and very flexible property manager, we have enjoyed her assistance every year.

We stayed at Bonnie Dunes several years ago and we did not want for anything! It's in a great residential neighborhood, was very clean, and well appointed with amenities. It was the perfect place for a quiet family getaway and we are planning to return in 2011.
